just 1 more day and we'll be counting down to the new year!!

2008 has indeed been a very fulfilling and somewhat kind-of-a-too-fast year for me.
basically, everything below marks my 2008..

`survived through and successfully graduated from yjc
`completed a's which i thought i wouldnt be able to handle
`better control of my emotions and temper infront of my family
`build stronger friendship between friends
`more self-disciplined
`learnt to stick to my own decisions
`treasure my family and friends that i've been blessed with
well, 2008 is filled with both happy and sad things. but i believe because of it, i've learnt to be a stronger person. i'm hoping 2009 will be even better and i'm looking forward to it.

oh ya, my mum asked jh and pf over for dinner yesterday and she made yong tau fu(watever) and i stuffed myself with a little too much food that i was so full. and as usual, i always enjoyed the company of them because they really are my source of laughter, in a good way of course. and today, jh is going off to (i think she already reached) penang when she is suppose to be in school now and she even got a test tmr! nice one ah jh~

not trying to be emo here but seriously, i've finally realised that we can have many many friends, a few dozen friends in our life. but we only need a few as best friends, a few that i can turn towards and depend on in times of need. and yes, i'm glad that i have that few now and i'm really contended with it. 所谓知足常乐。
anw i found this quote online and yes, it really brings out my thoughts.

"Happiness is time spent with friends and looking foward to sharing time with them again."

as we move on to 2009, let's reflect upon 2008 and what could have been done to make it a better one and not repeat them again in 2009. the same goes for myself too!
okay, this is very random. i realised that as i grow up, i tend to think more of the future because i know that my mum is ageing faster as i see more and more white hair and that it's time to switch our roles. my turn to take care of her and do more household chores instead of leaving it to her and only do so when i'm asked to. so, that's the first thing for me to work on in 2009!

i don know how i'm gonna spend my last day of 2008 yet but of course, with loved ones! and pf, if you're seeing this.. let's discuss some plans for tmr's countdown okay!
