Good afternoon folks!

I'm back from Hokkaido(since last sunday morning) and i'm as round as ever. I would like to do a very brief write-up of my holiday because my brain cant recall so much details. Ok, so here it goes...

Touched down at Hokkaido on Monday(20/12/2010) morning about 9am(Japan's time, which is an hour faster than Sg if you don know). Waited at the airport for quite some time for everyone in the tour to clear the customs and to also change into their long john etc. Then we set off from the airport to several shopping places. and it was mostly shopping and shopping for the first 2 days. And we also went to the Ishiya chocolate factory on the 2nd day. we didnt get to look at the production process for some reasons i don know why but we have lots of time to take pictures at the park right outside.

3rd day, we had our first try at the snow activities that is included in our tour and they are snow rafting and snow tubing. Both was fun and i think snow rafting will be a better choice out of the two. after snow activities, we went to the bear ranch to look at some huge black bears. we bought like two packs of apples to feed them and upon seeing apples in your hands, those bears will start doing stuns to attract your attention so that you will feed them. Very cute!

And after watching the bears, we went to have our lunch! This lunch is also the most memorable lunch ever throughout the trip because we were having BBQ in the SNOW(open space)!!! It was snowing freaking heavily and the wind was blowing every second which meant that it was very cold! My hands went all numb due to the cold and even putting my hands on top of the fire didnt help very much. But i managed to survive through because I started eating and my body starts burning energy and it gets less cold. Nevertheless, it was one good experience!

As for the 4th day, we had another snow activity which is known as snow mobil. This was an optional activity which is not included in our package so we have to pay for it if we wanna participate. It's like driving this snow vehicle(more like a motorbike) up to a peak on the mountain and total duration is about an hour. The thing is that it's very expensive! it cost about S$240 for the two of us! but we have already paid like $3000 to get there so it will be a pity if we didnt get to play the snow mobil so we just went ahead! My bf was controlling it and i was the passenger. it gets scary at some point because it feels as if the vehicle is about to topple over and there are also some sharp turns here and there. But overall, it was good except that the engine smell was really bad. It's like inhaling some sort of poisonous gas for that one hour. After that, we had our lunch then moved on to take a look at the Hell valley which is still an active volcano. It's full of sulphur and it's smelly like SHIT(literally).

5th day. Went to the village which house the ninja shows etc. went to walk the slanted ninja house which i almost fell cos wasnt quite used to it initially but it gets better as you walk more. Also went to Rera Factory Outlet for more shopping! but we only had an hour for that day and the place was so huge and one hour is definitely not enough. we had to rush to check into the hotel in the airport as we will be flying off the next day!

6th day. it was a free and easy day for everyone, our flight was at night so we have like the whole morning and afternoon to ourselves. So we took the shuttle bus from the airport to the Rera factory outlet again to start our shopping spree. helped my sis bought her make-up stuffs and i bought a shirt for my nephew. my bf bought me a pair of puma shoes which is relatively cheap compared to Spore and he bought himself a pair of adidas shoes one watch. after that, took the bus back to the hotel again and went shopping again at the airport. lots of stuffs to buy! and finally, board the plane and bid goodbye to the land of the rising Sun!

This trip has been fantastic. this is the first time i'm participating in this kind of group tour with a tour agency. by the way, the agency for this trip was CTC. and i'm pretty satisfied with the accommodation and food they have arranged for us. Most of the meals were buffet-style so we can eat as much as we like. as for the hotels, every hotel we stayed in has fantastic views from the room! The thing i like was that the prices for every similar product found is of the same price! Every shop you enter sells similar/same products and their prices are ALWAYS the same and there's no room for bargaining. I LIKE THIS! No need to bargain, just buy anything that you like. anyway, we wont be able to bargain because of the language barrier, they really dont nderstand english very much.

Besides that, the weather has been very cold of course. the first 2 days were still alright. from the 3rd day onwards, it keeps snowing quite heavily and it gets very cold especially when the wind starts blowing. And to be honest, i would prefer the weather in Singapore because it's really a chore to have to wear few layers of clothes each day etc. ALL IN ALL, the trip has been a very memorable and enjoyable one for me! Especially so when this is the first overseas trip with my bf. And we also spend our 11th month-versary together in Hokkaido! What a memorable trip!

Good day to all.

I'm still in the midst of my exam period because my last paper will be on this Friday and i'm more or less prepared for it. I must admit that i am very slack in preparing for this last paper because this exam weighs 35% out of the entire module. while the other 65% is represented by individual assignments as well as our group presentation. And i have already gotten 49% after all the other components are added up and so i ended up slacking a lot. It's like the holiday mood has already kicked in but obviously it's just my own imagination.

Anyway, i have 1 more day tomorrow to do the hardcore mugging. hardcore mugging in this case means that i need to force myself to sit down and memorize all the theories because this module is a lot about theories. it's business strategy!

This will perhaps be the last post before i fly off for my Hokkaido holiday. I'm very looking forward to the post-exam activity. it's not just the holiday which i'm looking forward to, its also the early christmas celebration with the psb clique before lucy, fletcher and lian fly back to their hometowns respectively. Hope the gift exchange and lunch will go on very smoothly on Friday! I'm so in need of a big feast because this exam is freaking me out especially the finance paper on monday. everyone was saying that they will take vegetarian meals for a week if they can pass finance. Likewise, if i do pass my finance module overall, i would like to go vegetarian too but maybe just for a day? HEH

Counting down, it's 4 days more to my Hokkaido trip. I have yet to pack my luggage properly as of now(besides dumping everything inside) because i am waiting for my beloved bf to do it for me. I have no idea if i should put the winter jacket inside or should i hold it in my hands because i think i will freeze the moment i reach there. and several other things that i need some advice on like if i should use the vacuum bag now or when i come back(so that i can have more space to squeeze in things i buy). So, it's better to wait for my bf to come and do it for me.

Also, i have been conscientiously applying the intense dry skin moisturizer for the past few days since last Saturday because i'm afraid that my skin will be very bad. the extremely cold weather will make the skin so damn dry and my bf is telling me all kinds of scary stories about his body getting all itchy due to the cold weather etc. And he says that if i only start to apply when i reach there, it will be rather useless thats why i have started applying since last wk. Hopefully, i will not have any skin irritations please! and i know having running nose is quite common in the cold weather, i just hope that it will not be too bad. I will prepare FLU MAX panadols just in case.

And i have also yet to change my Japanese yen now, will change it tomorrow. Will be changing S$500 and if it's not enough, i have my bf to rely on and also credit cards from my sista! yay!! Okay, enough of the excitement on my side. I shall get back to mugging asap!

Hello folks.

First, i would like to say 'Happy December' to everyone! YES! It's the last month of the year and we are here to enjoy this festive season that's filled with lots of joy and love. well, except for the fact that my exams also fall within this month. but thinking on the brighter side, end of exams will be another reason for us to celebrate!

Anyway, my LAST presentation for this trimester will be tomorrow. I am very looking forward to the end of the presentation because i never wanna see that lecturer/tutor again. Also, my exams will be starting next Friday which means that i have about 1 week left to mug for it. macroecons then finance and then business strategy! three papers and i will be free and enjoying my winter holiday!

Muahahaha.. 16 days to the end of exams and 18 days to flying off to Hokkaido. Will be taking the midnight plane and hopefully i can have a good sleep on the plane because when we reach there in the morning, it will be a whole day of activities. the thing about going holiday with a group tour is that it will be rush and tiring because we need to wake up early in the morning everyday for the day's activities. but then again, we cant go on a free and easy tour because of the language barrier. ok whatever, i am just looking forward to the holiday.

I will bring some of my own $$ there to buy things back for my family and friends even thou my bf has very kindly said i dont need to bring $$. but i cant be using his $$ to buy things for my friends right, it really makes no sense. most probably i will end up buying the choco biscuit for everyone.

ok, enough of me going on about the holiday because i have been talking about it in every update. And the only reason is because i am really getting excited about it. Besides, it's the first far away trip with my bf and we will be taking the plane together for the first time. It's really something i should be very happy about and yes i am.

but before all of these can come true, i need to get through my exams first. I hope that all my hardcore mugging will pay off(YES IT WILL) and that i can get as many distinctions as possible. It's not that easy but it's not that hard either because nothing is impossible. especially when i have devoted lots of effort into the preparation for exams this time round. Kudos to me!

My body has just been invaded by the sickly bug yet again. Started off with a slight sore throat and now comes the feverrrrrrrrrrrr!!! The weather has been having some serious moodswing these days. Its just the nature of the climate but be thankful we got no serious flooding or drought.

and i think my post will be very random today because i will type in anything that comes to my mind at any moment.

had yum cha dimsum buffet last friday with some of my clsmates from my tutorial grp. i went with a rather empty stomach and came out with a more than full stomach. as always, we tend to eat more than we should during buffet cos we want it to be worth every cents we pay. the last time i went yam cha for their buffet was few years back and i was having the dimsum craving for a long time so i wasnt disappointed with the food. it was satisfying but making me very thirsty after eating because of eating too many fried stuffs. i would recommend the dessert that is the red bean paste with banana as well as the mango pudding, mad awesome!

it was a great time for us to bond together because it was our first gathering with the tutorial peeps and we all had fun. so, we decided that we shall hold another gathering again this friday at sandra's house. gonna be playing mahjong and wii! but the poor me have to bring the wii console from my house all the way to tiong bahru and then to sandra's house. I can imagine how heavy my bag will be on that day. but if all of us can enjoy, i dont mind sacrificing a little.

and today, i had my last finance assessment which i totally screwed up because i didnt bother to study a single thing last night. dont mistaken me for not being hardworking because they choose the best 2 out of 3 assessments and i did pretty okay for the first 2. and so for the last one, i really cant be bothered plus i was sick so nothing's gonna enter this brain of mine.

meanwhile, it's about 16 days to exam and i am starting to feel the pressure yet again. i decided that for the next few weekends, i will be mugging hard and pulling my bf to accompany me while i mug and he can do his own thing. I'm such a good and understanding gf because i'm helping him to save his petrol.

ALSO, its 23 days more to the Hokkaido trip. getting more and more excited and damn looking forward to it. but the thing is i have no time and dont know how to pack my luggage. I will only be bringing one luggage and probably an empty hand-carry to put the things i'm gonna buy there. and i need to pack like winter jacket, thick sweaters, few pairs of jeans etc into that one damn luggage. but all these will be packed into the vacuum bag so as to save some space and maybe i can buy more things back. heheeeeeeeeeeee

I know the things there are not cheap due to the high cost of living but i believe that i will still get some snacks back. i guess the only things that i will buy back to sg will be different kinds of snacks. and you know what!!! Our tour includes going to the Ishiya chocolate factory (that's the factory that produces the 白色恋人 choco biscuit!!) and i saw it selling in Spore but i believe buyin at the factory will be much cheaper? gonna get a fex boxes back if possible! HOHO

and of course, looking forward to their delicacies! the hotspring bath! the snow! and everything else. i only pray hard that i will not fall sick when i reach there because of the extreme change in weather. the temperature there will be lik -4 or something. its gonna be crazy but i hope that the heat pads that we bought will be useful if not i will probably freeze there.

sighhhhhhhh talking about the trip makes me very excited but thinking about the coming exams makes me wanna cry. but! i will not be pull down by the exams, i am gonna conquer it with my power and the support of my love! alright, thats all for now. bye!

Good evening my friends.

The long weekend has yet again, zoomed past and we are now, into the 2nd week of November. Many people will slowly be counting down to the last month of the year and similarly, i really look forward to it now. It's the season of joy and fun and lots of feasting for most people. as for me, i look forward to every new month(not only dec) because it means that i'm one step closer to graduation!

meanwhile, i'm trying to apply for the internship from my school and i hope i'll get one because it all depends on our gpa. also, if the internship goes well, it might just become a permanent job. If that's the case, i can start working right after graduation and waste less time on searching for jobs. right now, it's time to sit down and think of my future prospects seriously. In less one year, i will be officially stepping out into the working world and i know the road ahead will be very tough and not as smooth as being a student. So, i would cherish every single day of my life as a student :)

anyway, last Sunday after going for dinner at Chong Pang with baby and his dad, they sent me home after that. and while baby is driving on their way home and abt to reach home, they were involved in a minor accident. because the car in front jam his brake all of a sudden(when green just turned amber) when he realised that there's traffic camera for beating red light. in fact, it is dangerous for him to suddenly stop and he will still be able to cross without beating the red light but he decided not to. and he was travelling at quite a speed and my bf too cos he thought that they will cross the junction. but the driver in front actually stopped and my bf braked too but still could not avoid the accident and his car actually banged the driver in front. in the end, some parts in my bf's car bonnet needs to be changed and the car plate also broke into half. lol in total, it cost $1600 to repair his car. the best thing of all was that he just brought his car to servicing the week before and then there comes the accident.

but because of the accident, his dad actually striked 4d though it wasnt enough to cover the cost of repairing his car. so, we went to msia ytd and his dad treated us to nandos and it's not too bad. but compared to the one in spore, it's definitely much much cheaper. and we also went to the robinson sale at expo after coming out from msia, it was so packed that we couldnt find a parking lot so my bf just park his car anywhere. after which, off to changi village for dinner, the chicken chop horfun there is good!

on a more random note, i got to see Hebe at the Singapore Hit Awards 2010 and she was very... elegant. I just wished it was three of them here instead of just Hebe alone but i think, not any time soon. but anyway, Hebe will be in Singapore on 8th Jan 2011 for her mini concert and i am sooooo going for it. And i will pull someone along with me, most probably my sister or my bf or anyone who's willing to go with me! and i will get the most exp one cos i want to sit nearer and not far awayyyyyyyyyyy like i always do :D

And to peihoon, welcome back to spore. i bet u must have enjoyed your Japan tour very much even though it may be a short one. there will always be more chances next time, this time round is only the appetizer for u. When u have earn enough money, then u can go for the main course! hahaha :)

next up will be constantly mugging hard for exams and then off for my winter holiday! I'm ever ready to set off(except for the luggage)! I pray hard that my time of the month will not fall on my holiday!

I'm back again, for consecutively two days but this is one of the rare situations.

i managed to finished my report within a day which i am supposed to because if i didnt, it means that i will most likely fail this module. but of course, i cant afford to spend an additional $1300 repeating a module so i guess that kind of motivate me very much. out of the 4 modules that i'm taking this trimester, this module has the worst lecturer(and tutor cos they're the same person). can u imagine a lecture which is suppose to have about close to 100 students only has about 30+ every week? and the attendance was so poor ever since the 3rd week of school and now is only the 9th week of school.

i don know about the rest of the people but personally, i dread going to school on thursdays VERY MUCH. Initially, i thought that i will love this module cos it's one of the tourism modules which i thought will be quite interesting. well, it turns out that this is one of the worst module out of the 16 modules which i have took since the start of school. by the way, the module is called "visitor behaviour & management".

it's not about the content of the module but rather, the person who's teaching it. she may be a very experienced tour guide in the travel industry but that doesnt make her a good educator. it's just her way of teaching that really turn us off. also, she has taught in several other schools before and had also recevied numerous complaints from the students there so it's not our school's people problems. OKAY! So it's not like i never gave her a chance because out of the 9 weeks, i have only missed one of her lecture. but after every lecture that i attended, i will come out feeling very disappointed and wondering why the hell am i wasting two hours of my time in there listening to crap. but every week, i still make the effort to go hoping that she'll get better each week but apparently, i am really disappointed. i hope that this is the first and the last time such kind of lecturer exist in school. thanks uon :)

enough of my ranting about school because i could have go on to explain the way she holds her tutorial session. if i were to go on, i think i will have to spend the whole night typing away because there's just too much i have to say. so i decided i shall stop right there.

anyway, i decided not to go for her lecture tomorrow cos i had enough of disappointments every thursday. instead, me and my friends are going to spend the time in a better way. even though we will be skipping her lecture, but we're still going to school early for our project meeting. i guess meeting for project will be more worth it than going for the lecture. i wished that i can miss the tutorial too but we cant because we have to submit our report tomorrow during tutorial. plus i need to stay in sch for a workshop till 10pm @_@

anyway, 1.5 months more to Hokkaido trip with baby and his parents. getting more and more excited as the date draws nearer and nearer. but we are more or less prepared for the winter there with all the thermals and sweaters and winter jackets. right now, my main focus will be to study hard and then enjoy my holiday. this year, i will get to spend my chirstmas in winter, winter xmas!! exctieddddddd muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

then, i'm goin to Singapore hit awards this coming friday with my dearest. he is very nice to accompany me because he actually don like this kind of thing but, exceptions this time! yay!! i can never get enough of dating with him, never. and i always look forward to seeing him because he's really my pill of happiness. i am so very in love and the honeymoon period never seems to end. Love :)

lastly, i will get to see Hebe this coming friday, awesome. and i pray that Selina will get well as soon as possible and i look forward to the day, S.H.E stand on the stage again to perform as one. S.H.E is never gonna fall apart and i will always be supporting them till i grow old. and maybe when i have children in future, i will teach them to appreciate S.H.E! HAHAHA

This is the 330th post and i try very hard to update whenever i am freeeeeeeee.

so anyway, the past week has been a real hectic week for me. firstly because i fell sick due to the hazy weather and secondly because i had 2 mid-term tests. and this week, i jus had my finance test today and i have a report due this thursday which i have yet to started.

my life has been very fast paced recently and i wish i could slow it down to take a short rest once in a while. There are so many things that i wanted to do since quite long ago but never really have the chance to get down to it. and my mid-term break was spend working on essay and mugging for tests. We all deserve a good break and it will only happen in December after all our exams i guess. in the meanwhile, i will complain no more cos i will work hard for the rest of this trimester and enjoy my holiday trip with bf.

times flies; so fast that our 9th month together have also passed by. life has been very fair to me because while i did struggle through last wk, i still have that special someone beside me. i can never ask for more out of life, all i wish is that we'll always be each other's companion. no more mushy talks in case anyone starts cursing me. heh

alright, gotta go now. i'm gonna have to puke out my report by hook or by crook cos it's due on thursday and its 25% so i gotta get at least like 18% for it to be consider a decent grade.

IT'S THE MID-TERM BREAK!!!

YOHOOOOOO!!

It's my one week mid-term break this week, finally. I guess everyone has been really lookin forward to it. but this break isn't entirely gonna be a break because we have 2 mid-term tests and an essay due the week after this. I'm hoping to finish my essay within this few days so that i can concentrate on my revision for the tests. wish me luck!

Anyway, I need to go to the Peranakan Museum this weekend for my Visitors behaviour and management(TOUR) module. our assignment includes going to a guided tour and then do a report and a presentation of it. I really dont like this module very much because this kind of fieldwork assignment waste a lot of my time. but at the same time, i get to explore places in Spore which i will never go if not for this module. however, in my opinion, the con outweighs the pro.

Moving on, my bf has finally changed his car after months of searching and looking. yeahhh, we went to buy the car with his parents ytd. basically, i also like it very much because i always have a thing for Mazda car. they look really sporty and young which suits his taste plus satisfy my liking. Hehhhh he haven collected the car yet so i haven really got to sit in it(besides the test-drive which doesnt count) but i'll definitely get to sit in it by this Friday. woohaaaaaaaaaa.

went to the hawker centre at bukit timah area ytd for dinner after settling his car thingy. hawker centre's food is good, cheap and nice and very filling. plus i got to drink sugar cane so thats the best!!

and then all this come to an end becos weekend is overrrrrr and i will need to look forward to another weekend all over again. but since i don need to go to sch, i believe time will pass faster at home than at school! me is goin to study hard and then enjoy my holiday in dec. BYE!

It's been close to a month since i last updated the blog and i guess no one is really reading it so i'm still deciding if i should close it. i think i will after the end of this year.

anyway, i'm doing fine in school. busy with projects, assignments and also preparing for the few upcoming mid-term tests. I think i'm still coping pretty fine now and i've also stopped the habit of doing my assignments at the very last minute. of course, i've also started preparing for tests and quiz etc like 2 or 3 weeks before so that i wont feel very pressurized at the last minute.

As for relationship wise, let's just say i have never felt so loved by someone(besides family) before and i'm really enjoying it. Having someone to care for me and shower me with lots of tender loving care every now and then is really great. We are cherishing the affinity between us and as i always tell myself, i will never take him for granted. So whatever it is, the point to take away is that cherish the people who loves you as well as those that you love.

It's September yooo!!!

We are into the last 4 months of 2010, I hope the past 8 months had been very awesome for all of you. If not, make use of the remaining few months to spice things up a little. As for me, I'm really satisified and am leading a really happy life now. I'm doing fine with my bf and am coping well academically too :)

My past weekend has been good as usual. We only spent Saturday outside, went to Turf City to look at some cars cos my bf's current car has this aircon problem which he went to service it a few months ago but then it's back again now. Whenever the car stops at traffic light etc, it will tend to tremble slightly so he can't switch on the aircon most of the time unless travelling on expressway.
So he's looking to change to another car now and I don't have much to comment when he's deciding cos I'm just the passenger. I don't really know if the car is good or bad, I only know whether it's nice or not nice on the outside or whether it's comfortable inside ;)
After looking at some cars, we then went to Suntec City for the Comex 2010 which was really packed as it always is. My bf bought me one external hard disk, I wanted one because my laptop's space is really getting lower and lower so I need to transfer all the pictures etc into it to free up the space on my laptop.

Anyway, will be heading down to woodlands stadium to exercise a little and try to lose some excess fats. Gonna be playing badminton with my bf sister and Roy, 4 people is just nice cos we can play doubles or we can play singles while the other 2 can rest(Great combi). After that, my sis said that she might wanna bake cake but i don't think she's really doing it.

I'm back from the Genting trip with mild sore throat and flu. But I still love the weather there because it's just so cooling and no sweat. The first time i went to Genting was in 1997 with my parents and sister; the second time was in 2006 with my second brother and sister; and now this trip was my third visit to Genting.

For the first time in my life, i went into the casino there to witness thousands of people gambling away. As for myself, i only spent the RM$10 playing the jackpot machine while my bf went into the VIP place to gamble which i cant enter. While playing it, I didn't really know what was going on but I just simply keep pressing the buttons. So when I see more credits coming in, it means that I have won and as the credits get lesser and lesser, I know I'm losing. ;)

But I think I'm not the kind of people who likes to enter the casino. Partly because I don't see the thrill in gambling (unless i try playing those tables one, maybe more excitement) and i hate second-hand smoke. Inside, almost 80% of the people were smoking away and there's no single place will you get to escape from the harmful smoke. Plus my bf lost RM$500 this time so i guess casino didn't leave me a very good first impression.

Over there, we wanted to try watching a movie but the timings were really screwed up and all the shows were like freaking lame. So, the two of us played pool for close to 2hours and it was only RM$20. This was my first time playing pool and my skill wasn't that bad but i lost every games to him. We also went to the arcade to play the basketball game for like up to 14 times and got like 700+ tickets. Doing simple things like this together is enough to make us happy for quite a while. Ultimately, it's not what we do that matters but it's being able to do something together that really matters. I guess the trip to Genting has bonded us even more and I'm really treasuring every moment we have together :)

Back to reality, yesterday was the first day of a new trimester. We are now into the final year of our degree and I really hope that all of us can graduate smoothly together! Today, as i saw the new batch of students coming in and carrying the familiar textbook reminds me that i was just like them a year ago. Time really is passing by very fast each year as we're getting older. I'll cherish the remaining times I have as a student and will try to reduce my whinings of assignments, projects and exams. Because being a student is really the best, less worrying about finding a job, working with other ppl, office politics etc.

Anyway, this trimester has only one group presentation and the rest of it will be individual reports and essays. This meant that we will spend less time getting together in groups to do project and more time at home doing assignments instead. Actually, i prefer doing individual assignments cos doing group project would require me to travel all the way down to tiong bahru to meet in school which waste like 2hours of my time travelling to and fro.

Moving on, my sister will be spending three weeks of her time in Oct travelling around Europe with her bf. I guess this is many people's dream, being able to put down everything in Singapore and go travelling around for 3 weeks. That's considered very long for someone who's working and i think she'll come back with more branded wallets and bags. Heh

As for myself, i have an extremely good piece of news to share.
I WILL BE GOING TO JAPAN(HOKKAIDO) IN DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to my bf and his parents, I get to go to the most sought-after holiday destination of many people. It's really not cheap to go to Japan for holiday, it cost a BOMB! As they booked the tour from the NATAS fair, the price for per pax is $3000 with meals and accommodation fully provided. So I think with the 4 of us going, the total cost will add up to be around $14,000 including expenses there. @_@

Anyway, according to the tour agency person, it will be snowing during that period of time and we can actually witness snow falling down from the sky. I'm very excited about the snowing part, but not so excited now cos the trip is like three months away. I believe that as the days get closer, i will be even more excited.

Perhaps the one thing that I'm really worried about is that I won't be able to endure through the harsh winter. It will be my first time travelling to a cold country and I'm not sure if my body can take it. As you can see, I fell sick just going to Genting so I cant imagine what will happen when I'm over there. But I will make sure that I wear many layers of clothes to keep myself warm. I will do more research about Hokkaido as I really know nothing much about it besides the fact that they have fresh crab and nice scenery.

Meanwhile, I shall focus on my studies first. The Hokkaido trip will now act as the motivation/the driving force behind me. This is really one awesome motivation for myself.

Good Day to all!

today is the first day of my one week vacation and i guess it's really about slacking and doing nothing as much as i can. but i did clean up the house today, after such a long time. i'm always the one who will vacuum and mop the floor when i have time. so for the next few months, we're gonna have very clean house until my exams come again which is like still long ;D

Anyway, i will be going to Genting on wednesday and will be back on friday. i'm going along with my bf, his parents and also his neighbours. we will be driving down ourselves instead of taking the coach. it was a really impromtu decision to go and i'm glad my mum allow me to go. driving there is free and the accommodation is free as well cos my bf's parents have the genting points to exchange for it. and expenses wise will be free for me cos i have the human ATM with me. besides, i think that we wont have any high expenses except when eating. Second holiday with bf this time round, this isssss simply great except that i may be having the time of the month. other than that, i guess i will be enjoying myself thoroughly :)

EXAMS ARE OVER!!

today's paper marks the end of my year2 which means that it's the start of my final year when school starts the week after next. I'm looking forward to graduation, I really am.

time is really passing by very fast when you least notice it. i've been studying in PSB Academy for almost a year and well, still surviving well. It has been a great one academic year for me as i embark on a totally new university life. the style of teaching is totally different and i was exposed to a lot more presentations than ever as well as never ending projects. But today, i must say that i'm a much more confident presenter and it just gets better with every presentation. In fact, i'm starting to love it now because marks are easily gained from presentations, all you have to do is to speak.

I'm looking forward to the next trimester because i heard that there's only 3 examinations because one of the module has no exam but only project. So i guess it will be better than this trimester whereby we have many projects yet no exemption from exam.

After our paper today, the three of us went to town and had lunch at Flying Chilies(313@somerset). The food there is not bad but it's not that cheap. the best was probably the fried rice and the tom yum soup, it was really spicy to the extent that Michelle cant even drink it but it was good. it literally warms up the throat after drinking and the feeling is good when you continue drinking it. After which, we went to Cineleisure and took neoprints. it has been dont know how many donkey years since i last took it. but it was really nice, bring us back to when we were younger and used to take it more often. We then had dessert at the Japanese coffeehouse there and home sweet home. we are planning to go for blading cum pinic session sometime next week during our break. hope our plan will be successful cos the weather doesnt seems good these days and wet weather will really spoil our plan. So, hope for good weather next week!

Anyway, i shall enjoy this one week of holiday before school starts and i get busy all over again. I have quite a few plans for this holiday. firstly, i'm gonna try baking a cake(chocolate lava cake) and also some chewy chocolate cookie. and then i'll also be trying to cook some potatoe dishes, hopefully i'll be able to do all these. and of course, i wanna spend more time reading my books. i have been neglecting them ever since i started the preparation for my exam, it's time to start reading again! lastly, i will really spend this week to replenish all my energy and get ample rest so as to get ready for the new trimester.

Finally, i will be meeting up with my bf tomorrow. I really do miss him a lot after not seeing him for a week. even the late night calls or skype every night doesnt seems to work at all. we are not like some couples who are fortunate enough to meet up often cos we only get to see each other on weekends even on my non-exam period. that is why i always treasure the weekends that i get to spend with him. I love weekends very much!

Good evening people.

I am currently blogging through my iPhone.

Tomorrow will be the last day of my exams and I'm really looking forward to the end of the paper, probably at about 11.45am

After the paper, we'll be having lunch at 313's flying chilies and then I will return home to replenish my lost sleep.

Perhaps the most excited thing is that I will get to see my beloved bf finally after one week of no meeting up! And this Saturday also happens to fall on the 21st of the month so I would say, it's really a great coincidence. But as I have said, I will replace the 'Happy x month' with something else(refer to previous post).

Anyway, please pray that I will pass tomorrow's paper and hopefully get a credit for it. It's my last paper, I will do well for it! Go gooooo!!

Good Evening people!

today is friday the 13th combined with the chinese's 7th month. today is the combo and it is referred to as the fusion between the western and the chinese according to my boyfriend. now you can tell how nonsensical he is ;)

anyway, today was the first day of my exam. it wasnt that bad but it's not that excellent too. i know i'm not going to get a distinction for this module while i was doing the paper. base on the amount of rubbish that i wrote, i'm really satisfied with a credit.

three more papers to go, i will study hard for the remaining papers and maintain the standard of three distinctions for my exam. somehow i feel that it is beyond my capability but i will try my best. i wont give up until the very last minute, i must achieve the same kind of results as last trimester. because i want my bf to feel at ease when with me and not worrying about my academic matters. for him and for myself, i will push myself to the maximum. JIAYOU!!

anyway, i thought that i wont be meeting my bf at all until my exams are over but no~ cos i get to see him today for a few hours. even though it's just for a short while(3 hours), i still treasure the short while that i get to see him. but the next time i will get to see him will probably be next saturday cos we're not meeting up this weekend. it's all about mugging and mugging for me this weekend. but i'm glad it's just this weekend, it'll be over soon!

anyway, this Aug marks the 7th month of me and baby but it just doesnt seems too nice to say something like 'Happy 7th month' together especially during this period of time. So i shall skip saying it this month. hahahaaaaaa i know it's lame but whatever.

Hello folks.

i've been disappearing for more than a week! mainly because i have been so busy with my TOUR presentation. anyway, the presentation was this afternoon and now that everything is over, i'm very glad that there'll be no more projects for at least a month. but then exams are just one week away so i guess, i'm not that glad afterall.

anyway, today's presentation was not that bad as i thought it would be. it wasnt a bad presentation even though we only rehearsed once. there's always room for improvement when it comes to presentation cos it'll never be perfect and there'll always be cock-ups at the last min. overall, i'm still very satisfied with today's presentation. i'll give our group 8.5/10.

and thanks baby for coming down to school to fetch me(i requested for it). i really appreciate it very much. hugs!

So, today is the last day of school and its now the one week study break! i really gotta make full use of this one week study break because i have lots to catch up and the other thing is i need to do well for exams. my baby's dad is actually nagging at him for always goin out with me on weekends cos my exams are round the corner. but of course, i know how to manage my time and such so i think i'll be just fine.

till my exams end, i will be missing for the next 2weeks. missing here and not literally missing. heh. all right, i shall get down to work now!

Hello!

It's Monday today, i'm not having monday blues but i'm having my monthly cramps. i know this is part and parcel of a girl's life and i have to bear with it but then i still wanna complain and whine about it. at times like this, i wish my bf was here to sayang me but obviously it's not going to happen :(

he is usually extremely busy on weekdays due to his work and he hardly have any time to do his own things already so i shall not disturb him any further with redundant stuff. but i hate his current work(he hates it too) because he has tons and tons of work to do and often end up staying till 8 or 9pm everyday when he's SUPPOSED TO END at 6pm. plus, there's no OT pay or whatsoever. anyway, he's applying for new jobs and i hope he gets a new job soon so that his misery(mine too) will end by then.

so, spent the last weekend like our any other weekends. went to this pottery-making place to take a look and mosquitoes must be so damn happy that i was there. also went to Jurong Point to walk about endlessly, then to my ah gong's bday celebration. as for sunday, spent the whole day at baby's place. had lunch at hougang mall and did some grocery shopping at ntuc cos we wanted to cook rosti for dinner. listened to the insurance agent talk non-stop for nearly 4hours (@.@)

we(me and baby) attempted to cook rosti after the agent left and cos we use the wrong pan and oil so our first rosti was unsuccessful and ended up, his father cook all the rosti while we only peel and cut the potatoes. hahaha and our dinner was prepared by all the four of us including his mom. lovely dinner although the food didnt turn out as well as it was suppose to be and our dinner was only ready close to 9pm. it started pouring extremely heavily after eating when i was suppose to be heading hm but baby stil drove me back despite the heavy rain but i warned him to drive really slowly cos i have phobia with travelling at high speed now plus the bad weather.

am done with one of the report that is due this friday. have to start on the other report as soon as possible but i'm so not in the mood. and having the time of the month just made things worst cos it makes me so tired and restless to the extent that i cant do anything. zzz

having the most important presentation for this trimester next week. it's a formal presentation with proper business wear. because of the presentation, i need to buy blouse and pants and heels which cost me close to $100. burn a big hole in my pocket but it's ok since i will have more formal presentations coming up in the next few trimesters. on a more random note, once this trimester ends, it means that i have also ended one year of studies and so i have one more year to go! wow!! cant wait to graduate but meanwhile, i will enjoy my life as a student. =)

It's 21st of the month again and today marks the 6months anniversary for me and bf.

it may not seems like a long period of time but at least it's still half a year gone. I didnt know that time will pass by us this fast cos i didnt feel like it has been half a year since we got together. to put it simply, i am really truly very blessed/happy/lucky/fortunate. i look forward to many more awesome times ahead and of course, more anniversaries for us.

Happy six months together, baby! I love you as i always do, thank you for bringing much more happiness into my life :)

Anyway, i made myself a nice meal for today's lunch. i prepared potato salad because i have cravings for it since quite long ago and so i went to get the ingredients after school yesterday. since there were many potatoes left, i decided to make rosti too. the first time i get to eat it was when i went to marche and since it's potato, i love it! and it was rather successful, gonna cook it for my bf next time :) :)

Back to reality, it's time for me to rush projects. one project due this friday and another 2 next week and my TOUR presentation on the 5th of August. The thing is that my exam is gonna start on 13th August which is like one week after my presentation. In the meanwhile, i still have so many projects to do so how the hell am i going to set some time aside for revision!!

I don't know how but i will get through this and do well for my exams to the best of my ability. Then again, i'm not the only one facing this so i shouldnt be complaining. I smell freedom coming my way in 4 weeks' time. Alright, i shall get back to serious work now. Bye!

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

i'm back in Singapore in one piece and i'm tired as usual. i'm always tired when i get back from a trip, be it taking coach or plane. even though the bed was quite comfortable but people normally don have enough sleep when on a tour cos got schedule to follow and need to wake up quite early in the morning.

anyway, the trip was great. just what i needed in the midst of studying and rushing projects. the life there was really laid-back and the air was refreshing especially when we climbed up to the top of the waterfall. the climb itself was tiring cos the ground was slippery plus muddy and i think we took like 20mins to climb up. but once we reached the top, it was all worth it i guess. but i was like feeling abit giddy and very thirsty after that.

besides climbing the waterfall, we had lots of good food and fruits. had our lunch and dinner at different restaurants for the two days where the food was really fab. we also visited the oil palm and fruits plantation ytd, managed to pluck some guavas back as well. and because there was a fruits buffet ytd noon, i have been goin to the toilet quite regularly so no problem of constipation.

overall, the trip was awesome. especially so because i get to spend the fruitful weekend with bf for that few days, we were really enjoying each other's company. i know that there will be many more chances for us to go on a holiday again and i hope the next one will be coming soon, probaby few months later. but then my bf will have to sponsor for me every time we go on a holiday so i try to minimize his spendings there.

i will get baby to upload all the photos into his comp then pass to me and i will probably go develop some of our photos. need to have some physical evidence cos this is our first holiday together and we need to keep it in our memory(photo album).

meanwhile, it's back to reality again and it's all about rushing projects and mugging for exams from now onwards. well, i enjoyed myself a lot and i believe that i need to do well for school so as not to disappoint anyone and let anything affect my results. i will work hard!! motivation!!

but before doing that, i need to replenish my lost sleep cos i'm still very tired now and need to sleep for a day before i can start on my work. so, i shall go and take my afternoon nap now.

HEYO!!

it's wednesday night today and that means half a week is gone! this week passes by rather fast because it's quite a busy week for me and my friends. we have a presentation tmr and its report due by this week and then another project due next week and more projects and presentation due the week after next. i must say that i'm not feeling very efficient nowadays cos our progress is really slow. well, the root of the problem is that we are easily distracted and we are just too slack. we never fail to side-track whenver we are discussing projects. i bet this kind of things always happen and its perfectly alright unless we cant get back on track(which happens to us most of the time, hahah).

enough of ranting about school, presentations and projects. i'm gonna get it over and done with as soon as possible and then mug for exams and enjoy my term break before a new trimester begins.

before i start mugging hard for exams and rushing my projects, i'm very pleased that i will get to go on a short holiday this weekend. i cant wait for it to come and i have been looking forward to the trip since quite long ago(you should know if you read my previous few entries). i don exactly know how's the trip gonna be like and what we're gonna do but i guess it should be great! i heard that we are gonna have unlimited flow of durian and also fruits buffet. i know after this trip, i'm gonna be avoiding fruits for quite some time. will update on my trip when i get back!

meanwhile, i have been getting along very well with my bf. we are still as loving as before or i should say we are more loving than before. pardon me for the mushiness, just bear with me for one paragraph la ok. exactly one week later from now, it's the 21st again!! hahahaaaaaaa

yes, this time round gonna be our six monthsversary and i have surprises for my bf (he's not reading my blog now so its ok for me to post it up). but because last week he came my house and into my room, he saw the thing that i actually prepared for him but it was inside a bag la so he didnt really get to see the details. but now he know i have something for him so it isnt a surprise anymore. i made a video of us and burn it into a dvd and i also customize the cd cover. i'm sure he's gonna love it and be so touched by me.

needless to say, you all know that i'm very blissful and is also a very happy girl now apart from school burden. pls also understand this point, it's not that i wasnt feeling very happy before i got attached. its just that getting attached is really like something extra, i call it a bonus. being in love really does change me in many ways, for the good of course. i wont wanna elaborate on that now but i will share with you someday.

i don know if this is gonna last but i hope it does, deep inside me, i know that this is the perfect love story for me. and i always or rather my bf constantly reminds me everyday not to take people for granted(cos that's his msn nick) and i always keep it in mind. i tell myself everyday not to take people around me for granted, especially my family members as well as the people who loves me.
people come and go but those that really stay on in your life are really those that you ought to look out for. so everyday i tell myself, i must treasure all the people around me now. i love each and everyone around me now. but i am biased la, i love my boyfriend the most(apart from the family members la).

lastly, i always believe in this: love will find its way to you, any time and any where. be sure to grab hold of the chance when it comes cos love dont come easy. ;)

Pre-Monday Blues

Good evening everybody,

the weekend was here and it's gonna be over in a few hours time. but for me, it's considered to be over already cos bf is back at home and i'm back at my own home too. weekends always zoom past like the speed of lightning.

anyway, went to Kluang(its some town in Msia) yesterday which is about 1.5hours drive from SG and that's provided the driver drives fast enough. my bf is such an idiot cos he drove quite fast(to me la) on the expressway and i was hoping(quietly in my heart) that he will slow down cos he knows that i'm scared but he didnt!! that's not the point anyway.

baby bought lots of durian and one big jackfruit for my family and i was very satisfied with the durian. came back to sg around 5plus and dropped the fruits at my hse and we went woodlands mart for dinner and then went back to hougang. hoping he could get his iPhone but the 16gb one was out of stock(its really a blessing in disguise).

so i could tell that baby was somehow disappointed last night that there was no stock so the person told him to try out compass point and he did so this morning. and the best thing(which is the blessing) is that they have the 8gb one which is like 100over cheap which means he save quite a sum of money thanks to the OUT OF STOCK in hougang mall. now we both have iPhones, yay!!

we went to watch Predators just now which i think was so-so, i was almost dozing off in the cinema but it was too cold so i didnt. even my heater bf cannot keep me warm, it was freezing cold and making it hard for me to concentrate on the movie itself. came back hm and had dinner with my 1stbro+wife and my parents at 888. and then he went home and i'm left alone cos my sis flew off to Bangkok in the early hours of today and will only be back on tuesday.

tomorrow is monday again and i'm not really looking forward to it cos we gotta stay back after school to discuss our project which really sucks big time. but then again, we got no choice cos we are short on time. hope that we can be quite efficient tmr and finish at least half of what we are supposed to! I love efficient groupmates, that's the best you can get out of a group project.

meanwhile, i am very looking forward to the next coming weekend cos i'm going on a short holiday!! I know i have been saying it countless times but please just let me talk about it cos i'm very excited. and then, i'm going to have Mad Jack for dinner on friday with my bf. I miss MJ's cheese fries and i'm going to have their Blue Mountain Burger which i have yet to try on my own. and so, i cant wait for friday's dinner as well! I LOVE THIS, lots of things to look forward to will make the days pass faster which is real good.

alright, shall go off now and prepare for school tmr! I HATE MONDAYS when there are project meetings. it sucks but yeaaaaaaaaaa. we suck it up! that's life. BYE!

Good morning all,
It's after 12am that's why it's morning. I just got back hm not long ago cos had a dinner and movie date with the girls just now.

It's really been ages since the four of us got together again and so today was just simply great. I love the company of them and they are essentially my best girl friends ever. I just know it deep inside even though we may not always be meeting up.

And yes, we went to watch eclispe and I must say this is better than the second one. Shall not be a spoiler, I will now wait patiently for the 4th one which I heard will be separated into two parts but I'm not really that sure.

Anyway, tomorrow or rather today is already Saturday and that means I will be seeing my bf in a few hours time. We are going to Malaysia tmr cos his dad needs to visit the Chinese sinseh inside. And after tt we will be back and baby is gonna get his iPhone if we have time. Yay! I love whatsapp between iPhone to iPhone, save my sms! Fab!!

Okay, I guess it's late and I shall be getting to bed now cos i'm very tired and it has been a long day for me today. Plus having to wake up darn early tmr, all the more I should get to bed. Goodbye!

Good Evening folks,

i've been quite hardworking these days with my blog. i dont go missing for more than a week and i try to update whenever i am free to do so.

anyway, i had to tricked mei into coming to school today cos we have already planned a birthday surprise for her. i thought that she will be in sch but then, she decided to skip sch today and i wasnt aware of it so i had to resort to cheating. i told her there will be important exam tips and lecture is being extended so she have to come down asap and she really did. had a good lunch with the usual people at 18chef and i'm proud to say our plan was a great success.

spent my last wkend with baby as usual, went for my dental appointment. everything's good, going back there 6months later for a regular dental check-up which i highly recommend you to do so as well if you haven been visiting the dental for ages. then, he drove me and my friends to hort park to do our project and he actually tour the park with us as well. thanks baby!

we then went to his house to rest(which i happen to doze off cos i was simply too tired) and had dinner with his parents at city square's swensens. i have been eating western food for don know how many times this month and so i'm quite numb to it. everything tastes the same to me. and then we went walking around but it was close to 10 so everywhere is closing. they sent me home after that!

but anyway, i am hoping to go madjack sometime soon again cos i love the cheese fries there. if you haven try it before, you really ought to giv it a try cos it's really the best(thus far) cheese fries that i ever eaten. go google MADJACK, they have several outlets so choose the one nearest to u and go try it! i think for us(north side people), nearest outlet will be the one at jalan kayu. plus the food there is affordable and tasty too, so it's quite worth your bucks.

SO, if you were waiting for me to tell you about the msia trip that i'm suppose to go which i have yet to inform my parents about.. here it is.. i have told my mum and that i am going for the trip. actually i wasnt asking if i can go, i was just informing them that i wanna go. you see the difference there? yessssss of course. anyway, the trip is on 17th July(which is next sat) and will be back the following day. i am very looking forward to it. finally a short getaway with baby to somewhere out of spore. rejuvenate myself cos exams coming up few wks later after the trip.

and this reminds me of that fact that i need to start mugging already. Uncle(bf's father in case u donno which uncle i'm referring to) actually asked me to start studying for it and he reminded me that i have only 1.5months to prepare for it. hahaha i was quite shocked when he suddenly ask me when's my exams the other day =O

anyway, i will study hard for myself and also for baby's sake. and then, i know i have a test this Thursday which i have yet to start preparing for it but i will start tmr. hahahaaaaaa, so much for wanting to study hard(end up last min).

the sungei buloh trip ytd was alright. i wasnt really paying attention to the guide but then i was enjoying the nature as much as i can. the weather was just right and it wasnt hot at all so making the trip a cooling one. it beats staying in class listening to the lecture anyway. pictures all up in facebook again!

after the trip, baby came to SB to fetch me and we went cwp for dinner. dinner at ichiban sushi, very nice! i think the long queues there almost everyday there is due to its reasonable price with very filling portion. my bf couldnt even finished his food, usually he eats a lot but i don know why he couldnt finish it ytd. maybe the portion was just too much.

today i stayed at home to make walnut chocolate cookies for my bf. this is actually the first time i'm making cookies but i think its pretty easy. just need to mix everything up and then shape it and push it into the oven and that's it. it's just time-consuming unless u can bake everything all at once which u possibly cant unless u have a huge oven. the first round of it was abit chaotar but then the rest of it was okay. i know he's gonna love it even if it's chaotar. ;p

going to go out in a while to meet up with jh and ph and hav dinner with them. a pity that pf isnt free to join us! its been quite sometime since the 4 of us met up together, hope that we can re-unite soon and have a catch-up session real soon.

i have dental appointment tmr in the morning at the dental clinic that baby recommended me to. i've been there the other time when i had a very bad toothache 2months ago and now it's time to go back again. i'm not very fearful as the dentist there is awesome, he's really friendly and the whole process is painless. i'm gonna go back to him every year for dental check-up from now onwards. i swear i never wanna experience another toothache like that ever again cos the pain is really unbearable. hence, i need to go for dental checkups at least once a year. you should too!

will be heading down to hort park tmr to meet up with the girls to do project. i dread doing tourism project cos it's really a pain-in-the-ass project. but i gotta hang on there cos it's the last 5weeks of school before we gonna have a one wk study break and then exams and then holiday. many many presentations coming up in the next few weeks, sigh. its all gonna be over real soon, i need to hang on there.

meanwhile, i cant wait for 21st July to come cos i have surprises for my dearest which i have prepared since quite long ago. it's just 19 days away and i think my surprises are awesome. by the way, did i mention that i will be going to a resort in msia for a short getaway with ys and his parents!

yes, we will be going for a short holiday 2weeks later and staying at a resort for 2d1n. i haven tell my parents abt the trip yet cos i'm looking for a chance to break the news. anyway even if they disapprove, i will still be goin cos it has been paid and its $168 per pax so i'm going no matter what! plus i dont bother if they are against it cos i'm old enough to take care of myself and know what to do and what not to do. so, yeah. wait for my next update to tell u how it goes.

Some pictures of my birthday celebration with my family which wont be posted up on facebook because i am THIS VERY LAZY. at least it's up on the blog, better than nothing. but i'm still waiting for Fletcher to upload the pictures though.

This was the little surprise that my sis prepared for me. it was 12am on 25th June when she rushed into the room with this 2 slices of cake with a candle. it was the first time in my 20years of life that she had a surprise for me. of course i was very happy.

HEYO!!!

i turned 20 last Friday and from this year onwards, i will have to write my age with a 2 in front. it feels the same every year, no difference from when i turn 18/19. age doesn't really tells much about me cos i think i am young at heart(forever). hahaha

So, this year is actually the first birthday that i get to spend with a boyfriend instead of the usual family as every other years. it feels good to spend this special day with him because everything just seems to be enjoyable no matter what we do. we watched a movie(Knight & Day) early in the morning that day and we went to have lunch. then, we went to this Books Warehouse sale whereby any books sells for $2 only and we bought like about 12 books in total. this is great because i have so many books to read which i love it (i have been into reading since quite long ago ever since jh intro-ed me to the shopaholic series, now i read all kinds of book besides those abit bimbo one la).

anyway, after the book sale we went to his house and his dad bought a cake back for me. and we had cake and i picked 4D numbers again(second time already) but the number did not come out so no one strike. and in between, he brought me to hougang mall to buy the iPhone! that's my birthday present from him(i'm enjoying the phone but it sucks battery really fast). and after that we went to northpoint and had supper with roy and my sis at the hk cafe there.

this might seems like a normal day-out on every other weekends i spent with him. but it just feels different cos he especially took the day off from work just to keep me accompany which i really appreciate it a lot. i mean he doesnt have to do that(i'm not tt unreasonable la), thats why it jus feels great no matter where we went/what we did. ultimately, it's really the person who you are spending the time with that really counts.

and my family had a belated birthday celebration for me on saturday. i love the chocolate cake from four leaves, it's really delicious. speaking of which, i realised that every birthday cake that i got this year were all chocolate. i need to stay away from chocolate cakes for the time being.

and now, i need to get down to some serious work. i have a few major projects and presentations coming up. july will be a very hectic month for me as all the deadlines are cluttered together in that one week. this is hell but i believe i will get through it. the worst is gonna be over and i look forward to the one week of pathetic holiday(of cos, i will have to get thru exam first sigh). i need to get back to work now. bye!

Good evening everyone.

first, i would like to say a very Happy Birthday to myself. yes, i am turning 20 in another few hours time and i am kind of excited about it (i will update this blog as if i have already turned 20 cos i wont be free to update my blog tmr).

anyway, i have been born for 20 years! i have been on this Earth for 2 decades. its amazing how time flies cos when we were young, we were always hoping that we can grow up like as fast as the rocket travel. but now that we are getting older each year, we hope that time can spare us and let us not grow old this fast.

i have many thoughts to share but somehow i have no idea where/how to start. *THINK*

i am very happy to be loved by everyone around me, family & friends. my family has always been very supportive of me all along. there is no doubt that there may be unhappy moments at times but it doesnt matter cos i only remember the happy times. i will work hard to do well for my studies so that i can earn money and contribute back to the family.

then, i am very happy to have a wonderful group of girlfriends(am referring to peifen, jiahui & peihoon) who i might have neglected after i got attached. but then no matter what happen, they will always be my best friends forever and ever till the day... of course, one of my birthday wish (i wanna have 3 wishes) this year is to fork out more time whenever i can to catch up with them once in a while. then again, i always love you girls!

next, i am very blessed to have this group of uni mates who have made my uni life much more interesting and memorable. they have helped me with major assignments and any problems that i might be facing in school.
today, they planned a birthday surprise for me which was really a success cos i wasnt aware of what was happening. they told me that we are going to BK for lunch today after B1's(my group) tutorial. so after class, i went down to look for them and suddenly whole bunch of them just shouted "SURPRISE" and i saw that the table already has food especially prepared for all of us. and they sang the birthday song thrice for me today which i am indeed very touched and happy at the same time. i have made a wonderful group of friends in school and i cant imagine how my uni life will be without each of them around. thanks girls(& only guy) for the surprise. i love you people!

lastly, all of you will be expecting me to mention about him! and yes! its finally his turn. my dearest boyfriend! i am seriously very thankful for his appearence because he plays a very important role in my life now, ever since we decided to be together. Buddha has been very kind to me, for letting me have such a wonderful guy as my boyfriend. i cant exactly tell you how good he is to me but all you gotta know is that, i am leading a very fulfilling and happy life now. thanks baby, for being the best bf. i only ask you to be with me forever and everything else dont matter. thanks baby!

i will be getting to spend my actual bday(that's tomorrow) with my bf cos he has kindly applied for off just to keep me accompany for the special day. of course, i didnt ask him to do it but then since he's willing to forsake his work to accompany me tmr, i am really extremely overly elated. see, i have such a wonderful bf who's willing to go the extra mile just to make my day. i love you like whatever!!

Hello folks,

i'm back from Jarkata and i am very very extremely shag. the whole trip was rather packed from the moment we reached and till the day we left(which was ytd). my bro's Jarkata wedding was a very(x1000000) grand affair. in Singapore, it will be considered rather exaggerating but its that common in Indonesia. it was buffet style and the desserts section remind me of fann wong's wedding. photos up in facebook!

anyway, my midterm break has also come to an end and i am very not satisfied because i didnt had a good rest at all this break. this also means that i will be very grouchy in school and will complain endless times cos the break is simply too short. and as i was too tired from the trip, i actually didnt hear my alarm ring and so i woke up at 10am when lesson is suppose to start at 10am. this goes to show how tired i am.

I get to spend a few hours with Baby yesterday as he came to fetch us from the airport and we had dinner together with my family. speaking of which, i didnt forget that today is actually the 21st and that it's our monthly anniversary again. its great that we have spent 5months together and that we are still very much in love. thanks Baby for loving me so much(i can feel your love), i am truly blessed to have you with me, loving me unconditionally. once you found the right partner, you will know how i feel. everything just feels right and even anything that's wrong will eventually turn out right. i am very happy with my life now and there's nothing i wanna ask for. i remind myself every now and then to count my blessings because we ought to be satisfied with every small little things no matter what. Happy 5monthstogether, i am still loving you very much baby :)

AYE!! alright, one last post before i fly off to Indonesia tomorrow morning.

and if you have been following me, you will realise that every 21st of the month will be a special day for me. yes, 21st is coming very soon again and it's our 5th month together. it's really awesome that we have been spending this much time together even without ourselves noticing it. i always look forward to the weekends because its the only time when i get to spend time with you even though it may be short. i'm getting more and more sick of school for certain reasons but i really got to bear with it and get thru 1 more year; for myself, for him and for my family.

WOW NEW TEMPLATE

Hello folks,

blogger is awesome cos it has some new templates which are so much better than the previous ones. so i've changed to this one which is kind of not bad too. i mean, at least its better than the old one which i was using. nice(Y)

anyway, the start of this week is my mid-term break and half of which has been spent doing projects. seriously, i have endless projects to do and we're kind of running out of time cos we started slow. plus i will be away from this friday till sunday so we're kind of stopping meetings now cos we all need to study for our MR test next wednesday. awesome! i really hope i have enough time to finish studying MR but i doubt i can so i shall try my luck! hehe

and so my big brother's Singapore wedding is over and now we're waiting for the Jarkata's wedding which will be held this saturday. i guess the spore wedding was a success(?). took lots of picture and it's all up in facebook!!

then, last saturday we(my sis&roy, me&baby) went to Macritchie to do some walking. wanted to go all the way up to the HSBC tree top walk but then we stopped 1/3way cos it seems lik it was about to rain so we actually turned back. then we walked another part of the park and realised that we were walking one big round cos that way will also lead to the HSBC treetop walk. LOL which means we walked different paths that eventually will lead to the same place for 3times. but i must say it was a great sweating out session.

we also had a mini picnic(hand-made sandwich, seaweed,coookies,potato chips) and it rained when we were finishing the food, luckily la. and then after that we went to another area and make use of the self-timer function to camwhore. doing jumping shots etc. and during which, a few monkeys was attracted to our potato chips and came and invade our things. luckily, we discovered it earlier if not our bags will be open up by them.

also went for the June 2010 PC show last week, went on friday and sunday. went on sunday again cos we didnt get to walk the whole show thoroughly on friday as it was about to close when we reached. yup, i didnt get anything frm the show but ys certainly did. good for him!

going off to jkt this friday already, even its just for a few days, i will still miss my bf a lot cos cannot sms! even in sg when we only meet on weekends, we can still sms each other. but now.. my wkend cant be spend with him. HAI!

hey folks.

i'm back again, have been updating my blog quite often nowadays cos i seems to have nothing to do but then i'm also thinking of closing this blog down cos no one's really reading it plus i now hav the habit of writing in my own personal diary. so i'm still considering whether i should close this down!

today's mcq test was manageable, nothing surprising pop out cos everything was really straight forward and if you studied for it, it will be a piece of cake. but i was also extremely tired today for no reason. i had enough sleep(lik 8hrs) and i didnt really crack my brain during the test. so i came home and totally k.o on the bed.

went shopping with my boyfriend over the weekend again. yes, we really don know where to go or what to do nowadays so it's really just shopping and more shopping. and i finally went to causeway point ytd after complaining in the previous post that i haven been there for quite some time. went to watch nightmare on elm street and the movie was so-so la, kill kill and kill. after that we went shopping and he got his cheap deals again and had dinner at 888 again!

this week will be an extremely busy week for everyone in my family especially on thursday cos it's my big bro's big day! yes, my big bro is finally getting married, like finally. it will be my first time heading down to ROM and witnessing the swearing and everything. plus my bf will be there also, maybe will have the urge to get married too. HAHAAAA just kidding, i wont get married anytime soon, i need to graduate and come out to work!

i'm still young ok, not even 20 yet but my baby is already 26, then again i think it's ok that guys get married when they are in their 30s. and if you are wondering, i'm sure he is indeed the man of my life and i'm gonna cling onto him like kuola bear. this r/s cannot be compared to the ones before which were more like puppy-love. this is by far the one and only r/s that has become a source of motivation for me and that i have the feeling to walk through the rest of my life with him. it's something that i cant really put into words but i know the feeling is right.

with him, silence is never an awkward moment(cos it tends to be quite awkward sometimes with some people when we have nothing to say); when i look into his eyes everytime, i still get 'electric shock'. we are past the so called honeymoon period but everything's still as sweet and good as the very first time we got attached. i love you very much, baby! hugs&kisses!

hello all, once again.

i'm back to update my blog again, so hardworking. =o

anyway, i was finally done with my tourism essay and handed in on time. but i couldnt crap too much and therefore i cant hit the 2000 words. seriously, i have been cracking my brain very hard for that 2 days trying to squeeze out as many words as i can but then, i failed. i just submitted it and i hope i can pass.

i'm really really very tired now. been trying my best to mug for the upcoming CB(consumer behaviour) test on monday and another MR assignment due next friday. but i need to finish it up by wednesday cos my whole of thursday will be burn as it's my big bro's wedding! and after that, i need to work on CB case presentation which is due on 22nd June and i will only be back in Singapore from Jarkata on 20th June. which means to say, i will be extremely packed for the next few weeks till after June ends. my bday is coming but i have an assignment due on that day as well, so its really crappy. feeling stressed out.

i was hoping that i can finish mugging as much as i can for monday's test so that i'll be able to go out with my baby over the weekend but it seems that i wont be able to finish by today. and that means i will have to sacrifice sunday at home mugging instead of going out :(

i hate weekdays. it passes by so damn slow while wkends are over just like T.H.I.S!! ok, i'm probaby crazy now from all the mugging and doing of assignments. and ya, we didnt get to go for our sungei buloh field trip for some reasons. but if everything's good den we should be probaby goin on the 8th week instead so that's like 3weeks away. i wanna go to the field trip so badly cos its better than staying in class and listening to the lecture blah blah blah. hehe

actually i haven been to causeway point for quite sometime already but my boyfriend always say "go causeway point again" whenever i tell him lets go cwp. cos i said that to him last wk when we were thinkin of where to go and in the end we settle for town last wkend. so i believe that we wont be heading down to town again this wkend unless he's still looking for cheap bargains. yes, we went town cos gss is here and it's probably the one and only period of time in the whole year when he's willing to buy his clothes etc.

we are running out of ideas for dating besides watching movie and shopping, there's pretty much nothing to do in spore uh. we have climbed bukit timah hill, went strolling at kent ridge park and hort park. what else to do?! tell me pls. anyway, hope that will be able to go for a short holiday trip with my boyfriend in late aug with sis+roy. i will definitely be able to make it cos it's my holiday but as to whether baby and my sis can take leave from their work... well, that depends on their schedule now. plus it will be a sponsored by baby so whahaahaaaaa... if the plan really puts into action, we'll most likely be going to phuket or bangkok. with that, i will have another motivation to push me on to mug for exams yes!

Hello all.

yesterday was peifen's bday, wished her thru fb and sms but not yet blog, so here's to our beloved peifen. Happy 20th Birthday! man, we are all getting old now. it's a number 2 infront now. as we grow older, our friendship age with us as well (which is a good thing!). We'll meet up for an awesome belated birthday celebration for u once ur exam is over! good luck for ur paper!

Good news on my side is that i have done relatively well for my previous trimester. i was totally satisfied with my own results and despite the fact that i'm in a relationship now, my results did not get worst. for that, i'm really glad that the effort put into hardcore mugging for that one week paid off and the decision to go watch S.H.E's concert 2 days before my law paper wasnt a wrong decision at all. out of the 4 modules, i got 3 distinctions and 1 credit. i'm happy!

i seriously hope that i will be able to achieve the same kind of results for this trimester. it isnt impossible and i will try hard for it! i'm getting very stressed up currently becos of all the deadlines and bro's wedding thats coming in june. i am trying hard to cope with it and also finishing assignments as early as i can for now. for the past one week, i had thoughts of giving up simply becos i couldnt cope with the requirements of certain modules. but i have worked so hard for the last 2 trimesters so giving up isnt going to do me any good.

Anyway, public holiday this friday. yay!! and then lucy's birthday coming as well, i gotta plan and arrange with the rest as soon as possible. and den tourism essay due next thursday, having field trip to sungei buloh on that day as well. my schedule is so freaking packed that i don have time to take a proper and peaceful rest. this sucksssssssss.

300th!

firstly, congrats to jinying for this 300th post in her blog. o.0

anyway, it's been so long since i last updated. the last post was still stuck in late april when i was still having my holiday and many things have happened since then.

school has started and i am once again trying hard to meet assignments and projects deadlines, there are really lots of them. there are group projects and presentations for all the modules this trimester and i must say i'm really immune to it now. it's really gonna be a much more hectic trimester compared to the previous becos of all the projects + field study at hort park every week for our tourism module. this is sickening but i really gotta bear with it. this is the last trimester of year2, i'm gonna ace it as well!

have still been as good with my boyfriend as before, we are meeting up on the very precious wkends every week. why cant it be weekend on monday to friday and weekday on saturday and sunday! that will be crazy but great.

I also met his parents for the first time on 8th May 2010, just one day before mother's day to have mother's day lunch together. we went in to Malaysia frm morning till late afternoon and had our breakfast and lunch and also shopped around there. it was a pleasant meet-the-parents session cos everything went on quite smootly. his parents were really easy-going and friendly plus his dad's really humorous which ease the tension in me. glad that the first time is over and i'm looking forward to meeting them again.

for the past weekend, have been spending quality time with him again. he drove all of us to Pontian(my mum's hometown back in Msia) on saturday and it was really time well spent. enjoyed the time with him as well as the family bonding outings. i bought 2pairs of shoes, 1 pair of heels for my bro's wedding and another simple one for presentations.

went down to town for the Cortina watch sale yesterday but the watch that baby wants has been sold out. he was very disappointed but i said it's ok cos if he were to buy it, it's probably gonna cost more than $1600. so in a way, he managed to save that amount of money which he may use it to change new car(he's always been dreaming of changing car).

alright, i'm gonna go do my tutorial now. i'm so determined to work hard constantly for this trimester and not only struggle to survive when exams are coming. it was really torturing me last trimester and history is not gonna repeat again. now off to do tutorial!

p/s: 21st is coming soon! it means that results for previous trimester will be out and it also means that it's me and boyfriend's 4th month together. if results are satisfying den we can celebrate 2 happy things in a day! bye!

Holiday

my exams ended last friday and i have been enjoying myself ever since then. life is always great when exams end cos it means no more hardcore mugging for at least a while(Y)

meanwhile, i'm going to enjoy my pathetic one week break to the max cos sch will be starting next monday. it's seriously not enough but shall make do with it and rest and rest and rest.

had steamboat + bbq at my house yesterday and played mahjong for awhile as well. had so much food till i feel so bloated but then it was still a very hilarious session. will be going cycling and bbq with them at pasir ris this friday, our official last post-exam activity before school starts again.

Hello folks!

as you all know, i went to S.H.E is the one 爱而为一 concert last saturday which was 17th April 2010! sadly, i dont have any pictures to share with you cos i decided to not bring camera to snap anything but just focus on the concert wholeheartedly. LOL Serious leh me. hahahaaa

Obviously, if you are gonna ask me how's the concert. i would instantly tell u it's simply awesome! The concert started with Superstar(which was the last song they sang frm the previous concert), great start because they are really superstar! and the concert lasted for more than 2hours, everything was great. the stage, the lightning, the sound impacts and the perfomance itself was all nicely put together. I was totally satisfied when the concert ended cos i came out with a sorethroat so u should know how high i was. VERY HIGH. HAPPY GIRL! Now, its time to look forward to the next coming concert which i seriously dont know when la. should be at least 3years later(aww!!).

after the concert, baby and roy came to SIS to fetch us and the 4 of us went for supper at lavender. wanted to go to geylang to eat but there were no parking lots at all so ended up at lavender. eat supper is shiok but then not good, cos fattening!

anyway, the title of my post means what? Half way thru what? EXAMS! 2 papers down and 2 more papers to come! bring it on, marketing and tourism. i will conquer you with my knowledge. after exams, it will be nothing but fun. i have one whole week of events arranged with my uni mates, cant wait for exam to end!

meanwhile, i wanna say that ebus totally suck. it seriously suck cos the paper was so tough. thanks to the coordinator for setting such a good paper. whats RAID Array? HELLO? we never even see the term before and yet its in our paper. Very good. Law paper was okay, could have been better but its over now so forget it!

i wanna say big thanks to my marketing project group mates cos our marketing group report's result is way beyond our expectation. it's a 1800 words report that we pour our heart and blood and sweat in and our hard work did pay off. thanks ppl for the effort!

exams coming in 3 days time, cant exactly describe how i am feeling now. its either i'm stressed to the extent that i am numb to it or i am simply not feeling the stress. but then again, being stress is not going to bring me anywhere so yes, no stress no stress!

ebus will be the first paper, the one which i'm least confident in because this module really is headache. learn about all those comp systems and functions etc, really doesnt interest me a lot. i really cant understand the mind of people who specialise in IT. they must really have a very strong interest in it, to be able to absorb all these very dry stuff. i'm trying my best to commit all those info into my memory(Y)

on the other hand, i am extremely excited about S.H.E's concert this saturday. the last time i went to their concert was on 27th JAN 2007(I STIL RMB IT CLEARLY), i left feeling high and satisfied for the price that i pay. this time round, i'm paying more(not me actually, cos my bf paid for my tix), but with the same expectations becos i know they are going to perform way beyond my expectations. hehe(sry, biasness here) ;p.

i know its my exam period and i shouldnt be getting myself so high in the indoor stadium when i'm suppose to be at home mugging. but whatever, if you are well-prepared for the exam, that few hours wont affect u much. HAHA trying to make myself feel better and less guilty. but yes, i am somewhat well-prepared for the following monday's paper so its ok la..

anyway, i shall get back to mugging now. go go go! its only 10days left to the end of this torture, so hang on there jinying! you can do it, pass your exam with flying rainbow colours. bye!

Hello to whoever is still reading my blog, i like you! (ok, whatever)

went to play badminton last sundaywith baby and my family and now, the right side of me is pain. my right arm, back, backside and leg. cant even extend my hand fully straight now, really is pain [now not so pain already]

anyway, this week is the second last week of school. times flies so fast, another trimester is coming to an end soon which also means that final exam is 3weeks away! need to start start start mugging now, gonna spend all the wkdays trying to mug as much as i can so that i can spend time with boyfriend over the wkends. =p

on the brighter side, S.H.E concert is also 3weeks away!! Woohooo~ totally cant wait for it to come, getting me all excited! i think that play will be seriously flooded on that day because S.H.E's concert is at indoor stadium while Mayday's concert is at national stadium! cool but sucks to the human traffic which is gonna be very bad according to my prediction.

okay, tmr is already thursday and then friday is PH(gd friday). woohoo! i know i shouldnt be that happy because exams are coming but... nvm... next sem timetable is good(if it doesnt change anymore). i love ending school early cos we will have ample time to rest and then study at night! BUT!!! gonna be in different tutorial group from the rest(damn shitty). we have already bonded for 2 trimesters and now, we're gonna be separated. &#%$@$!!@*(#$@

i don know when u will be reading this but i would like to say, its been 2months since we got together, everything has been really great. i love all the time that we spent together even though it may be a short while at times.
thanks for being so tolerant and understanding towards me, especially when moodswing kicks in becos i was too stressed up with school. i know i sounded harsh sometimes, i'm sorry!
similarly, i know you are also very stressed up with your job but i cant really help much. i can only listen to your whining and give u moral support. i hope that you can find back the kind of enthusiasm that you once had for your job. but whatever it is, i will always be standing by you.

i'm so glad that our marketing group presentation is over!! it was a huge relieve because i was getting really kind of stressed up over the presentation. next week will be ebus news review(another presentation), but den im not so stress over that because i'v prepared it quite long ago.

hello folks.

i'm back in Singapore! the short trip to jkt was just like the previous trip, shopping and eating and shopping and eating. pictures up in facebook!

once i stepped back in Sg, i face a lot of stress becos i know i have many things waiting for me to complete. but thanks to Lian, who finished the rest of the project while i was in jkt. appreciate her effort a lot! den all i have to worry about for the rest of this week will be the tour essay that's due on friday and the marketing presentation on saturday!

will be starting on my tour essay by tonight and try to complete it by tmr night(i don have school tmr!!). and friday will have to try to rehearse for the presentation and we can rehearse on sat as well cos our presentation is in the afternoon. hope everything goes well for the presentation!

in a month's time, i will be facing the final exams yet again. in exactly a month's time, i will also be going for S.H.E's concert!! one is hell and one is heaven. thats why i have to start mugging early like NOW because i donwan my results to be affected because of the concert which will take away ONE DAY of my mugging session.

no matter what, i will put in my utmost effort to study, i need to study hard & study smart in order to produce the ideal results. i need to prove to everyone out there that my results wont get affected because i'm attached. and baby hopes that i do well too if not he's gonna feel bad so i'm going to start mugging for finals!

Hello boys & girls,

my current location is at Jarkata! i'm staying in a penthouse here which has 2 levels and is huge like mad! this is the kind of place that i will never get to stay in singapore, the whole house is air-conditioned and it has lots of toilets which is good. but it has quite a long flight of stairs which makes one tired after climbing it several times. i wish i have the money to buy this kind of house in singapore, but den wait till i earn my millions first okay.

because we are in Jarkata where property isnt that expensive, this super humogous penthouse that im staying at is only worth S$300,000!!! with S$300k, u can only get a 4room flat in singapore. its really cool to be staying here but den its only the house thats nice la.. other than that, the traffic and everything is bad as usual. no difference from the previous time i came here, equally bad traffic!

its currently 8.30am here in Jarkata. its 1hour slower here than in singapore. by right i should be asleep now cos it's still early but i cant sleep cos its very bright and the curtains are not useful at all. but den, as i am typing this.. i can feel that my eyelids are getting more and more heavy. therefore, i am going to try sleeping again before i wake up for a long and tiring day ahead.

Hello!

my right leg's small thigh is experiencing muscle ache thanks to baby. but then, thanks to him also that my big toe is going to recover soon. i think its probably because after the long walk, all the pus got squeezed out unknowingly which is better than having to squeeze it out myself! ok, spare everyone the disgusting thought.

am done with the powerpoint for the individual presentation that's 2weeks away, but its always better to prepare early. next up, will be rushing mktg presentation's powerpoint, ebus case study 2, tourism 2000words essay and also to practice for the access test which is all happening next week. 3assignments and 1test next week! really is wtf.

if i know that i have so many things due next week, i wouldnt be flying off to jarkata this friday. serious man, i didnt realised that all these were due next week. i thought that the tour essay was due on the 26th march which happens to be my mistake cos it is due on the 19th instead. wtf!

and i will be away until monday afternoon, which i think i have to meet up for project or something after arriving back in spore. next week gonna be a very packed and hell week for me. i have no time to go out and i don think i will have time to meet baby either, until friday night or saturday!! it really sucks when u have so many deadlines to meet and yet so limited time to complete. well, this is the period to show the power of time management! law test is finally over! i know results are not gonna be that ideal but its alright! i wasnt expecting a lot from today's test. it's over, move on!

after paper today, as usual Baby came to school and fetch me and he went for his lunch and he drove me around his school and den we went to kent ridge park. seriously, i wont even go to such places myself, thanks to baby i was there today.

we had a super long walk from kent ridge park all the way to hort park and then back to kent ridge park again cos his car was parked there. if not for the car, i really wouldnt wanna walk back cos the weather was hot and i was sweating a lot plus the main point was that my legs were tired la. but we did managed to walk back and i sweat and stink so badly.

went to vivo after that, wanted to catch alice in the wonderland but tickets were selling fast and only left with first 2row of seats which we dont want! so we came back to 888 and had dinner with my parents. den came back to my hse and watched nemo on chl5. hahaha!

eh, my sis escaped!(secret between me and her!)

gonna buck up for next week before i leave for jarkata. need to head down to ICA to collect my new passport. woohoo! ok la, time to go off! BYE

CNY is over, like so fast! how i wish CNY could last longer so that we can play more blackjack and mahjong! been trying my luck with blackjack and mahjong but luck doesnt seems to be on my side. whatever it is, doesnt matter that i din win anything cos it was the time spent bonding with the family that really counts.

as the title goes... i got a feeling but not going to continue on with "tonight gonna be a good night" cos i got a feeling but its the feeling of STRESS! as much as i hate it, time is sliping by and more and more due dates are coming up. for the next 3weeks, i'm gonna have to be working on deadlines after deadlines and there are 2 presentations waiting for me.

it may seems that there's only 5 things to do over the next 3weeks what, what so difficult!! but in fact, everything is time-consuming and everything needs to be done perfectly so as to ace the final results which is coming in 6weeks time.
as more and more work comes flowing in, i'm feeling the pressure yet again. i need to do well for this trimester because i want to. i need to stop giving additional pressure to myself if i want to perform well. but with all the due dates pushing me so hard, i cant help it but feel really stressed up. i need to de-stress!! ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but i think ys is even more stress than me recently cos he has a lot of work to complete and has been working overtime for many days. crap, we are both getting so busy which leaves us with lesser time to see each other. i see him like twice a week only hor (i always tell ppl ard me tt when i don him too often, like that den i will miss him more) but den now i miss him and wanna see him more(very contradicting).

anyway, will be on the jetplane to jarkata next friday afternoon, again! i'm coming back on the following monday afternoon. i'm not very excited abt this trip in case u're thinking, "wah! jinying is going overseas for holiday"!! well, definitely not a holiday trip! hopes i get back safely. hates travelling there cos i very kiasi!! boo!!

whatever, time to get back to my "favourite, most lovable" law. i'm so screwed by this module, wanna do well for it but am not grasping the concept at all. what is this man!! this is rubbish!

it's time of the year again, chinese new year!

happy chinese new year to all the lovely people out there!

my CNY was as usual, like every other years. we bai nian and say countless times of gong xi fa cai and xin nian kuai le. we go house hopping every year.

we take the family photo every year which gets more and more tough each year as more and more cousins bring their partners along. i think few years down the road, we have to take the family photo down at the void deck(jus kidding, ppl will think we are crazy!). cant wait to see the family photo! it was a hard one for me and my cousin cos we had to half kneel which was very tiring!

but then again, ys(my bf) also went to China for his vacation. therefore, leaving me here in spore not able to contact him(no auto-roaming!!) at all till he gets back. but ytd he gave me a surprise by coming online and yes, i was shocked but SUPERhappy at the same time! cos he had comp in his hotel room which allows him to come online! tonight will be able to chat with him again plus it's already thursday tmr so that means, 2 more days and he will be back! woohoo!

although we didnt get to celebrate our first valentine's day together, its alright cause to me, valentine's day is just another ordinary day. why should we choose to only celebrate that one day when we have so many other days together! perhaps it holds a special meaning to many but i'm one of the minority who dont mind not being able to celebrate valentine's day together! =/

GOOD NEWS is that i will be going to the S.H.E concert with my sister! PF, its okay that you cant go, chill~ wanted ys to accompany me but he say he don like S.H.E!!!!!!!!!!! nvm la, at least he helped me to buy the tickets already. woohooo cant wait for 17th april to come!!

today is the day i brought baby over to my hse and meet my family and i'm glad everything went on smoothly. i'm sure everyone is happy for me! then again, i promise that i will not neglect my studies just because i'm in a relationship now.

meanwhile, i got back my previous trimester's results last week and i am proud to say that i did a good job last sem. and i trust myself that my performance this sem will be as good as previous or even better!

Hello, i'm back again.

yesterday was the celebration of my ahma's birthday. we had dinner at the coffeeshop nearby and the food amount was like omg! we tried very hard to finish as much as we can and i guess the best eater of the night was xj! the portion he ate was really scary, i think what he ate for last night can last me for 2 days(not exaggerating!!).

after the dinner, we went back to 511 and played a game introduced by my sister. looking at the picture below maybe you could make a few guess on what we're playing? i'm not going to explain cos its long. well, i guess we enjoyed.

Hey folks, it's the start of a brand new year(Hooray! we're getting older)

i believe most people have come up with new plans, ideas and resolutions as we step into this new year. it's almost one week into this brand new year, i guess many things remain pretty much the same. well, except for the fact that we're continually ageing(i cant believe i'm turning 20 this year!!!).

for myself, i'm not really sure how this year is gonna be like for me but being kept in the dark is gonna spice things up a little, i hope. one thing for sure is that i'm gonna learn something new and that's baking!

i don know why but somehow i seem to be enjoying baking all of a sudden. ever since the girls came over to my house and started baking the brownie, i realised i wanna bake too. and baking is now one of my new-found interests.

it's really not too late to pick up something new. hey, baking can be considered a skill too. in another words, putting it in a nice way would be that "jinying is actually picking up a new skill!". i think i enjoy the process a lot, because while baking (e.g, cookies), the excitment of anticipating the end results is really thrilling in a way. the best part out of baking is probably getting praised for the very tasty and delicious cookies! now, that's what we call satisfaction.

since i'm into baking now during my free time, i decided to try baked potato the other day. it turn out quite nice, except for the fact that the skin was kind of too hard cos i forgotten to apply some olive oil on the skin before i send it into the oven. but overall, it was still nice(of course i must praise myself lah). below is a picture which shows my first attempt at baked potato which i shall conclude, was a success but there is still room for improvement. it's gonna get better the next time, i know.

i named it my baked cheese&ham potato.

first day of school was seriously bored. e-business, how great. now i need to learn how to use microsoft excel and access, hip hip hooray(-.-). am looking forward to next week's lecture(tourism is coming!!) though. cos i reckon that it should be more interesting and way way much better than today's. but honestly, i'm enjoying school now as it is because i know schooling is still better than working. so, enjoy being a student my dear friends!

HEYOO!!!!!!

we're gonna be counting down to the new year tmr!
as we grow older, it seems that each year is passing even faster than the previous one. agree? yes.

anyway, i think i lost the 'feel' in blogging nowadays. it's not that i'm too busy to blog but rather whenever i start blogging, i tend to get stucked and in the end, stop blogging. happened for 3 times already, i think i'm gonna close down this blog in the end.

whatever it is, i wanna sum up my 2009 with this last post in 09.

it has been a great year with great friends and family surrounding me, showering me with lots of love and more love. and i tried my best to love my family and friends in return which i myself believe, they do feel it. =D

i experienced one of the worst setback in my life and that was the horrendous alevel results which happens to be the one and only regret in my 19yrs of life. results were poor to the extent that i couldnt enter any local unis. and i thought i would have to retake/enter poly. but thanks to my family, i'm enrolled into psb academy. i must admit that i add on heavily to the financial burden of my family but i know, i'm gonna pay back when i graduate. thanks mum,dad, 2nd bro and my sister for forking the $$ out and thanks to my 1st bro for his laptop!
i truly feel so loved by them ;)

in 2009, i finally took the plane and went taiwan which is the country that i truly enjoy. and speaking of which, i'm seriously missing the fried chicken in the shilin night market. i will definitely visit taiwan again and eat all i can! totally love the food at taiwan!!!

next i went to indonesia and had an eye-opening experience and from there, i learnt to treasure everything that i have, material/non-material.
i learnt to count my blessings because i know i am fortunate enough to have a shelther over my head and financially stable enough to feed my stomach.
i learnt not to whine over the smallest things like my mum cooking food that i don like or the bad weather. because its our privilege that Singapore is not that prone to all those natural disasters that killed millions of people in other countries. and i'm proud to say, i'm loving my country!

and then i entered psb academy in late august and started my student life once again. i'm glad that i met great people along the way and we have bonded so much. first trimester has really been great for me. the nonsenses we are up to during lectures or tutorials; the very long breaks we spend rotting together; and the mugging sessions that really helped a lot. am looking forward to school a lot because of the girls, school is really not a chore(except exams!!).

All in all, 2009 has been a great year with great people around me. i cant ask for more because i truly did enjoyed myself this year. although there may be some people who left my life which is always inevitable, new people entered and spiced up my life. am thankful for every single thing that happened because with that, i learnt to treasure the people and things around me even more.

thanks to every single one who made this year a fanciful one for me.
thanks to the girls(pf jh ph) for keeping the bonds between us strong and i look forward to many more years with you girls.
thanks to the people who stabbed me in the back because without you, i wouldnt be this strong emotionally.

i wont be coming up with new year resolutions this year because it seems that i don always keep up with it. but of course, i have certain expectations of myself in the coming new year. like the facebook group that i joined, "i'll definitely study in the next semester".
this sem's results will be satisfying enough but i know it can be better. i could have put in more effort and not over-estimate my own ability(like i did this sem) just because i studied certain topics before. next sem will be brand new modules which i have totally not touched before, so i know what i must do! seriously, i just wanna do well academically next year. but of course, go on a diet and lose weight because my big bro's wedding is coming soon! =D

i look forward to a better year ahead with you you and everyone else.

hello!

in the blink of an eye, it's already friday and the mid-term break is gonna be over soon. how i wish i dont have to say TGIF this week cos if friday never comes, then i'll have an endless mid-term break. but it's time to face the reality, we had enough fun and enough rest. now let's buck up for the last few weeks of this trimester and achieve something(hopefully) outstanding before 2009 ends.

had a good time playing badminton with the girls yesterday. but what comes after the badminton session was pain and more pain. muscle ache was quite expected becos it's been AGES since i last played. but what's worst was the headache that really got me screaming(silently) for help. perhaps it was because i was caught under the rain for awhile and so you know.. didnt get to shower directly thus leading to the headache. which i swear was the worst headache i ever experienced so far. i took panadols but it doesnt work. i tried lying down to sleep but it was pain to the extent that i lie down on the bed for 2hours+ before i fell asleep. it got better when i wake up in the morning but i can still feel some pain but now, all is well! =)

this week was seriously a movie spree. hahah, went to catch This Is It just now and i must say it was really good. i may not be a hardcore fan of MJ but he's still an icon in the world whereby everyone must have heard his music in one way or another. overall, it was a great film that's worth your bucks and time instead of jennifer's body.

and! highlight of this week is that i'm going to causeway point tmr to see S.H.E!!!!!! YAY!!! i'm totally excited cos it's at causeway point. Woohoo! i think i wont be able to sleep tonight uh! okayyyyyy, let's enjoy the last weekend before school starts again!

after 9weeks of tough battle with school, i'm glad to say that it's the one week mid-term break now!! not that sch was very bad, but i think we all need a break for awhile before we start our engine again and prepare for the final exams!

for the past week...
i went to watch "my sister's keeper" which was really touching and according to jh, its a emo movie. but i didnt cry, except that me and jh kept hearing ppl cry. but overall, it was quite a good movie.
watched jennifer's body yesterday! it was average, now thinking of megan fox sipping the human blood makes me wanna laugh. hahahah. before that was off to library to study with peifen, i only managed to come up with the summaries for 2 of the irhr topics. but, more to come!

plus last week was the deadline for acfi project which was nicely done before the due date. Plagiarism rate was around 38%, hopefully it's not too high and will get a decent grade please!
this monday was the deadline for our irhr 2nd essay. i managed to finish it on sunday night and i spent 2 full days sitting in front of the laptop digesting those journals and coming up with arguments and evidence to support. and i must admit it wasnt easy at all to write a 2000words essay. my brain juice was fully utilised and no more was left, now replenished already(LOL).

tomorrow will be a day out with the psb clique! we're doing something really healthy, exercising! yes, heading for a 2hour session of badminton at woodlands sports hall. whahaha, i'm the one benefitting cos i live the nearest! for once, i don need to travel long long! a pity angeles is not joining us, boo! next time must arrange something else, not sports den she confirm will come. LOL

alright, time for movies again(at home of course). race to witch mountain and continue watching my super ex-girlfriend and the hangover! nice one, so many movies to watch. woohoo! BYE!

HELLO, it's been more than a month since i last blogged.

basically, you probably wont be interested to know what's going on because my life very much revolves around school and projects. school has been relatively great, i'm coping fine with the subjects but definitely not time management. assignments keep coming in one after another and there's little time in between to slack.

deadline for acfi project is this friday and 2nd essay for irhr due next monday. i'll be kept busy for this whole week and probably until next monday. of course, next monday(2nd nov) will be the start of my mid-term break which is gonna last for a week! let's just say it's a break in a way that we don have to go to school but it's actually a break for us to prepare for our final exam for this trimester.

exams are 6weeks away and i really need to buck up because i wanna do well. somehow, i have raised the expectations of myself with regards to my results. perhaps, the competitiveness in me is coming out and when i know i can do better than just a pass, i gotta aim for it and work on it.

apart from my mundane school life, i have been catching up with the girls for the past 2weeks. we had a steamboat session at bugis. watching movies which include "the hurt locker" and "halloween 2". both of which were not that good in my point of view, i fell asleep while watching the hurt locker. but more new movies coming up in the next coming week, "jennifer's body"!

today, i spent the whole day at home myself. been trying so hard to attempt the acfi project but it's really just so difficult. to the extent that i don really know how to start and i need help!! gotta stay back in school tmr after lesson to do it together with my friends i guess, which means another long day tmr. my parents are off to msia for a funeral. my sis went out! left me!

Hey, it's been few weeks since i last updated. Peifen!! not MIA but jus becos nothing much to update on and mainly because workload is getting heavier and i'm starting to feel the stress. but then again, i'm coping well as of now. mid-term is coming up next next week, jus had acfi this friday and it was manageable but i just wasnt very well prepared for it. better luck for finals!

anyway, 5weeks of school has just passed by like that and somehow i feel that the pace of everything seems to be quite fast. life has been good and i'm pretty much enjoying school as much as possible. and the only reason why i'm enjoying school is cos i have good friends there to laugh and talk nonsense together during lectures and long breaks. i know i probably will have a hard time going through school if not for them. instead of whining or complaining about school, i must say that i'm loving school now(except the MRT journey everyday) and school work wise, i hope i can manage it better! =)

turn back the time to 20th sept, we had a surprise birthday celebration for Roy(my sis' bf) at east coast park. my sis managed to coax him to ECP in the afternoon whereas the cousins went there early to set up and prepare to surprise him. overall, i think it's rather successful and all the cousins had a great time bbq-ing and chatting! after which was stayover at my house and we played wii. real hilarious seeing the guys play boxing! we all enjoyed!

yesterday, mid-autumn festival at my grandparents' place. but it was kind of bored because we had nothing to do besides watching tv. plus without the young cousins here, we no longer take lanterns and walk around the estate like we used to in the past. maybe we should really try it again sometime and i bet people will be staring at us but i know it will be fun!

anyway, went to this restaurant at harbor front centre to have dim sum buffet. the food there is average, not totally very nice. but i think i still prefer Ding tai feng's xiaolongbao and the yambao there, totally addictive and i miss eating it. thinking of the yambao there makes me drool.

and yeah.. after eating, went to catch g-force. totally not worth the money to watch this this kind of kids show in cinema but no other shows to watch so just make do with it. plus our birthday girl wants to watch movie too! den shopping and home sweet home!

Hey people!

school has been pleasant so far and of course, making more new friends makes school even better and enjoyable. it's still honeymoon period as for now because it's the first week and tutorials have yet to kick in. but i guess from next week onwards, everything will take a 360 degree change because of having to stay in school for long hours plus essays and projects to be done. uni life is really stress, i think we got to be able to manage stress well enough if not we will really be knock out.

to be able to handle the stress, one very important issue is definitely time management. i am a person who really dont quite like the idea of coming up with a plan because it will all be ruin once there's a sudden change. but coming to uni, i know the importance of having to keep track of everything you are doing and should be doing. crucial thing is, we must know how to prioritize things. even though it's just the first week of school(honeymoon period), i'm already kind of prepared to face the incoming heavy workload and stress that will come along soon.

but the first thing that i have to get used to is waking up early in the morning(once again) and the long train journeys to school. it's an one-hour journey to school and my ipod is now the most important companion on those long journeys. but the worst part of it is having to squeeze in the train and standing throughout. well, i will adapt to it soon enough.

anyway, goodluck to jh cos she's starting work at Check(cwp) tmr!! hope your colleagues are nice people, if not work will be boring. and finally, FINAL DESTINATION 3D TMR!! it's weird i'm so looking forward to watching a gore show in 3D some more! but heard from many that the 3D effects were really cool despite the usual story plot. actually, i believe ppl watching 3D is for the sake of the effects! EXCITED!

1st day of school

Hello!

today marks the 1st day of school for me, it also marks the official ending of my 9 months long holiday and i'm no longer a slacker. because for the next 2years, i will be kept busy with studies and i'm gonna work as hard as i can to achieve the best results. there will no longer be any long holidays(longest being 2weeks) and everything is brand new so i shall make this chapter of my life different from the previous one.

for this whole week of school, there will only be lectures since tutorial will be starting on the 2nd week of school. so i'm still considered quite free as i end school like 11am or 12pm everyday. but i guess the best thing about my timetable is that i don have school on most of the thursdays. so which means that i'm having a 4-day school. not bad right!

but i also know that the next 2years will not be that easy to get through because i'm studying some very foreign modules(t0 me) except for economics. today's lecture was about "managing an organization" and of course, the beginning was easy to comprehend but i believe what comes after in the next few weeks will be complicated. first day of lecture and we are told about the assignment that will be due on the 4th week. it's an essay assignment which is suppose to be not less than 1200 words and i totally couldnt really understand the question at all. the question goes something like this, "Critically discuss the notion that Scientific Management was a 'good' idea in the history of management thinking.". Me and my friend were like "huh" at the question and we both agreed that it is some chimalogy stuff.

and there needs to be a lot of research done because we have to get reference from at least 6 different academic sources ranging from textbooks to journals and of course, Internet! and by using wikipedia, we will get a fail grade immediately because the information there can be provided by any human beings and its accuracy is being questioned. speaking of which, i was reminded of the times when we were doing project work in jc and we were quite dependent on wikipedia.

tomorrow's lecture from 9-11am on business decisions and statistics. i'm hoping that the stats is not what we learnt in jc because that was somehow kind of my nightmare. but whatever comes along, just gotta work hard. i don know why but i do feel kind of motivated actually. perhaps it's because of what i went through with a's. it was a real wake up call and it's very effective, i'm truly motivated and promised myself that i will work hard this time round so as to make every cents paid for the course worth it. and of course, don let myself be a reason for my family to be disappointed. so yes, work hard for this 2years and i know that international students are really hardworking and score well most of the time. Fyi, my course has many international students so must work as hard as them. be a real mugger and be proud of it! *WINKS*

as a motivated student, i'm going to get down to my research on the eassy assignment cos the outline will be due in the 4th week. we even need to come out with an essay outline that will not be graded but still constitutes a small portion of the results at the end of this trimester. Orientation day!

Long time no update, nothing interesting actually!

so anyway, today was my orientation day @ PSB Academy for business and communications students. i wasnt expecting much from the orientation because i know it will be full of talks and basically, more talks. and of course, i was spot-on! we had a mini ice-breaking session which was quite redundant.

wonder what we did for ice-breaking? okay, here it is..

we were seated in a lecture room and there were strips of paper under our table which has an alphabet on it. and you are suppose to find 15 other ppl who have the same letter as you so as to form a puzzle. den u just get together to form the jigsaw puzzle and that's all. and i thought ice-breaking was suppose to let us know more friends but it seems that it's quite impossible through this mini game.

all the new friends i made today were those who were sitting around me and also during the campus tour. totally not from the ice-breaking games can! and among my clique, i'm actually the youngest!! Wahahah... but they are all easy-going and outspoken people so very easy can click. i think as time pass and we know each other better, we will be really crazy. no need time to pass, the first friend i made today was josephine and we totally click and gone crazy while the boring talks was going on. to sum it up, being able to meet new people was great but i felt that the programme planned could have been better. =)

need do do a lot of stuff now, very troublesome. need to settle this online enrolment thingy and have to select own course to take, headache. think it's abit stupid.. they told us to enrol by 31st aug but the helpdesk set up for this enrolment thingy is on the 4th sept.. doesnt make sense?? aiya, turn to friends again at times like this.

need to get down to school to settle many things.. collect card and order lecture notes etc. uni is really very independent learning. everything gotta settle by ourselves, headache. many things to read up on again. i think the worst thing is the issue about holidays. for the next 2years, my LONGEST HOLIDAY WILL BE TWO WEEKS! SO DAMN LONG RIGHT! we were like WTF after hearing this but i guess this is UoN's kind of policy. hmm, accept it and live with it ok! 2years only, i must work hard and strive for the best!!! As the title suggests, my school will be starting in another 3weeks(in fact, less than) time. i cant force myself not to emphasize on the fact that i'll be student once again after resting for almost close to a year. i know that i have somehow lost the momentum on getting myself back to the student mode, but i know eventually i will. it just takes times.

i guess it's time i have to switch the body clock in me once again. no more staying up to late nights, no more waking up at like 11 or 12 in the day and most importantly, no more afternoon naps. i have been cutting down on my afternoon naps lately and of course, hope i will be able to sustain it long enough till school starts.

I was checking my junk mail this evening and i realised i received a mail from PSB. usually, i dont even bother to look through my junk mail cos it's mostly spam mail. but today, i was really bored and decided to look through it and luckily i didnt delete all of it without browsing through.
Yes, it states that my orientation will be on the 26th Aug from 9.30am to 5pm! i think it will be filled with talks on University policies and touring of the campus. hopefully, more ice-breaking sessions so i can know more new friends!

Also attached in the email was a list of compulsory books that we have to purchase. i didnt know there was a Popular in PSB, now i know. anyway, the books are so freaking ex, add all of its prices up together and totay is $306. i know i'm gonna have to spend a bomb again on school stuff! :(

on a more random note, i almost fell asleep while watching the movie, UP! or maybe i was just too tired or the movie totally doesnt interests me, i was so tired that i was hoping the movie could just end right away(when the show just started for 30mins). my cousin xh wanted to bring my 2 little cousins out so i joined them at the last min. had a meal and a movie den home sweet home!

totally was a day at home spent watching dramas and variety shows online! now, i shall continue reading my Shopaholic ties the knot! bye!

Hello! i'm back again to upload pictures from yesterday's celebration of my ahgong's birthday. now i am determined to overcome the lazy bug in me and upload the pictures onto blogger(it takes a long time okay!)

Anyway, we went to this restaurant at Sungei Kadut Loop(located near krangji factories) called 经典海鲜. If you happen to watch this channel 8 show whereby Dasmond Koh will invite an female artiste every week and they will source out places with good food which are more accessible by car. The restaurant that we went to is the episode with Priscelia Chan one, the lobster porridge restaurant.

The food was average but not to the extent of very nice in my opinion, but the place was good. we were in this VIP room whereby they even have karaoke system for us to sing and it became like a kbox session with lots of people! As usual, i always enjoyed the time spent with my crappy(in a good way) cousins! forgotten to take pictures of the food before eating, so there isnt any pics on food! now, the pictures!

it's a saturday and i'm bored at home. dinner at 8pm today at a ulu restaurant to celebrate my grandfather's birthday. but right now, i'm just bored. could have gone out with jh to watch movie but no idea what's the plan later so here i am, stucked at home blogging.

today is already the 8th and i'm starting to count down to the day school will be starting and i'm constantly reminding myself that this super duper long holiday of mine is about to end, not so beautifully as for now. but i hope what comes the next few weeks will be happening enough so as to spice up my long holiday a little bit more.

seriously, who in the world faces the same situation as me now(there may be a handful, but i'm sure not many). having a holiday as long as for 9months, that's incredible and i know this is the first and also the last time that i can have such a freaking long holiday. like what Ed told me the other day, he said that i'm lucky and should enjoy every moment of it. cos' Singaporeans are mostly tied up with work once they step into the working society and rarely have chance to relax like i am now. i guess i'm really blessed to be able to enjoy this long and i don regret the fact that i didnt went out to get a part-time job and earn some pocket money for myself. well, i rather enjoy myself for this many months than working my ass off to earn money.

maybe this thought of mine is a very senseless and selfish one but i don really bother what others gonna say and think about it. to you who may be reading this, might think that i'm such a spoilt brat and wasting time at home instead of earning money then so be it. i have been leading a very aimless life yet i enjoyed the process of having not to worry about anything day and night. and the only thing i have to worry about was "what am i going to do the next day?". ridiculous but yes, that has been the case for the past few months. totally enjoyable for myself. =)

Sis' 21st birthday!

My sis had her 21st bday celebration last Saturday and it was very successful. The atmosphere was great; the food was good way beyond words(of course good, my parents own effort!!) and most importantly, everyone was enjoying themselves. and i believe my sis had a very memorable 21st birthday that she will never forget.

The place was full of balloons and everyone was playing with it and taking photos with all the balloons. A few cousins came over early to help out in decorating the place and preparing fruits etc. thanks to them if not we will never be able to kickstart the party in time with all things done.

Overall, it was great and as promised, pictures!You realised I’m not in most of the pictures cos I was the one taking! =D

No more frequent updates from me now because i've got nothing much to blog about!

All i could remember what i've been doing for the past few weeks was that i went to catch Harry Potter with the girls and was busy with some random stuff. stuff like going out during weekends to buy things to prepare for my sis' 21st birthday party this coming saturday and also helping her to do some decorations. her birthday party is expected to be quite grand, we shall see about it this saturday!

oh, and my big bro came back to Singapore last fri for a short break and he passed his laptop to me and it's mine now! he gave me his laptop cos' i'll be starting school in late aug and since he have 2 so he can spare me one. heh thanks brother!!

it's been a week and my house is now packed with many stuff due to my bro's family moving in but at the same time, it's merrier now with more people under one roof.

i cant recall what i have been doing for the past one week but i just know that i have been rather occupied. all i could remember was that i have been waking up very early for the past few days and i went for a run with my sister last week and i felt good because it has been very long since i last went for a proper run.

accompanied my sister for her sgh appointment on thursday and she's totally fine. had our basic theory test yesterday and we both passed. we were kind of proud of ourselves cos we didnt had any trial test before it. we wanted to book a trial test since quite long ago but we just keep delaying and so in the end, we just went for the actual one. and i must say i was rather lucky cos the qns for me was quite simple and straightforward whereas my sis' one is more tricky according to her. lucky me!

i want to learn something new but not sure what. maybe i should start learning driving now that i passed my btt but then again, need money especially since i wanna take school one. headache.

went to catch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and i think many people are saying the movie is good because the audio and visual effects were there. other than that, i thought the movie was just okay. shall not comment too much on it in case some people may not have watched it yet. =)

and i'm home-alone once again now since school holiday ended and my parents are back at work now. but my second bro will be moving into my house next week and i predict that my house will be in chaos. they are shifting all their stuffs over when my house it's already messy enough, i think it will be worst when they move in.

my nephew came to stay overnight at my house last night and as always, i'll get tired the next day cos i cant sleep properly with him here. i need to check on him every few hours to make sure he doesnt roll off the bed. now i'm freaking tired, i cant imagine how a mother can endure her baby crying in the middle of the night and deprive herself her own beauty sleep.

tonight is my grandparents' 55th marriage anni and we're going over to have dinner and yes so it means it's cousins getting together again later.

my family can go out on weekends for shopping spree all thanks to my sister's boyfriend. cos he got his driving license and can drive us out during the weekends. heh so shiok!

As the title of this entry suggest, i would like to thank everyone who wished me through sms or facebook. simple greetings like "happy birthday" is enough to make my day.

i was contented to be able to spend the day with my family and my good-est friends. happiness is time spend with people i love, as simple as that. decided at the very last min to ask the girls over to my house cos my mum told me in the late noon that she will be cooking a feast so i could ask them over. luckily all of them were quite steady, so we had a gathering at my house.

and i think they had a good time being entertained and entertaining my nephew, especially pf cos i think my nephew was quite interested to have a 'ben 10' session with her and showing off his ben 10 watch to them. i'm a happy girl thanks to them and of cos' my family for not failing to celebrate with me every year. And hope you girls like the meal that my mum cooked. =)

OH, we had a little of vodka peach mixed with sprite too. just drink for fun only la and jh's sis face turn red within a few mins after drinking. like totally red, very good blood circulation. but then again, we are just drinking for fun and it's like once in a very long while thingy la. we watched a very gross movie after that and they went back at like 1:30am like that. Hope we all had a great time.

MY 19TH YEAR

Happy Birthday to myself!!

my first half of this year was really full of ups and downs. let me just run through what i've been put through for this first half year.

i encountered the greatest setback ever in my life as a student by doing badly for a's and it did hit me badly. for the first time; because of the bad results, i cried myself to sleep for that few nights which i could still remember. but at the same time, i know that i have to move on instead of crying over something that's be done and cannot be undone. So now, i've moved on and learnt a great deal of lesson from it.

things in life may not always go the way we want it to be, some things are simply just out of our control. but behind everything that happened, there will be a reason and a purpose behind it. i may have screwed up a's but i believe because of this failure, i know i've somehow grew stronger emotionally. nevertheless, it was mistake on my part but i learn from it and will not repeat it ever again, as long as it's within my means. a promise to myself.

Of course, my first half of 2009 does not just revolves around the unhappy moments. there are still events that did made this few months worthwhile to remember.

through the bad times, i know that i have good friends to turn towards whenever there's a need and my family for standing by me and forking out as much money as they can to put me through university even when i thought private education was never affordable for me. i know i'm very blessed to have all my loved ones with me through the bad times and the good times. we shared everything together, be it sorrows or joy.

i took the plane for the first time to the country that i wanted to go most and that's Taiwan. being able to travel overseas is a privilege for me and i enjoyed myself a lot together with my sister and my cousin. like the endless shopping trips that lasted till late night and we even went to shilin night market at 12midnight just to settle our cravings for the chicken chop. it was my first time travelling and it was indeed an enjoyable one.

Also, my family went to Jarkata to visit my bro and that i believe my mum is the most happy one. to be able to see my first bro finally going to get married and settle down. and seeing my family happy, i'll be equally happy as them. time spent with family is priceless and should never take it for granted. i'm very contented with my life now and not asking for more.

it was a good half year and i'm hoping my next half of 2009 will be even better as i embark on a new journey as a student once again in an entirely new environment. i must admit that i dislike to be placed in a new environment with no one familiar faces around but it's still something that we all have to go through. even though i dont like it but i still look forward to it cos' it's still something new.

looks like this is quite a wordy post. i'm gonna enjoy myself today and indulge in lots of good home-cooked food, my mum's cooking never fails me most of the time. i think i will wanna learn to cook like her soon, it's a skill ok. =)

Hey!

i have finally figured out how to change my blog's url but keeping the posts there. i just realised the import and export blog function of blogger and that makes it so easy for me to change the url. actually i thought since i wanted to start a new blog then i should not include my old posts but those entries are still part of my memories so i decided to keep it.

anyway, decided to change my blog url because i thought the previous one was kind of stupid. i came up with that url like 3years ago and reading it now made me realised how childish i was and how much it doesnt make sense cos' that word dont even exist.

i've also decided to use a much more simpler template which is provided by blogger instead of finding another skin and editing this and that. this template by blogger is so much easier to edit and i dont even have to go through the hassle of editing all those html codes or whatever, which really is a headache to me.

this shall be a very positive and self-motivating blog. Life is too short for us to grumble too much and not appreciating little things around us that we should be focusing on instead. Live life to the fullest and start loving it.

Happy Father's Day to all fathers.

i think my family tend to be more biased against fathers. just the way we celebrate mother's and father's day is simply so much different. we always celebrate this 2 occassions with my extended family and then we'll have a simple celebration on our own.

for mother's day this year, we went to Sakura for buffet and my sis bought a durian cake. but today, we had no plans for our father at all. we didnt even went out for a simple meal and we didnt even buy any cake at all. just see the difference and by our actions, it just shows how biased we are. i think my dad should be quite emo now cos even my mum went out to play mahjong instead of staying home. that's mistake on our part and we'll not repeat it again.

on a lighter note, i enjoyed the time spent crapping with my cousins for the past 2 days. haven seen them for like a month, and it's always nice catching up with all of them. we are all growing up and are getting more and more busy with our own lives but it's still great to be able to just put down everything for that few hours just to sit down together and laugh about anything possible. i'm a family kind of person so i love every moment spend with them, it's something that can never be bought with money no matter how rich you are. treasure the time with them because you dont have forever on this planet.

i'm not being emo here tonight in case you think i am.

congrats to peifen for receiving her letter from PSB, like finally after so many weeks. it's painful to be waiting and waiting and now, we're spared from the suffering of having to wait again. and we're gonna be schoolmates once again after the 2years long separation during jc. But i doubt we will bump into each other in school at all cos i study in the day and pf at night. but still, we are schoolmates laa. =)

finally decided to go register for basic theory test. intended to go private for the theory and will be taking the test on 10th July together with my sister. just reading through the handbook as many times as possible, no trial test nothing. hopefully can pass with the first try. pf and jh faster give me tips on what the popular qns are!! after BTT den can start to learn driving, so exciting! looking forward to it but at the same time, there's still fear la. fear of doing and learning something new. omgxzxzxz!

been having durian feast for the past few days, durian for dinner or durian for dessert. cos my mum bought 20kg of durian when she went malaysia on sunday. but they brought like 10kg over to my ahma house, if not we can never finish it.

anyway, jh brought us down to nyp on monday to play badminton. we were not suppose to be playing there cos it's only open for their students but den we manage to sneak in successfully as nyp 'students'.

after that, left early with pf cos i need to meet my sister for lunch. yes, my sis is free for lunch-out everyday for an hour so we all take turns to go and find her for lunch.

yesterday, i spent the whole day clearing my room and cupboard. finally, i overcome my laziness and decided to clear all my jc notes etc. yes, i kept all my notes up till yesterday. all the lecture notes, tutorials and files. hahah and i think everything weighs up to like 30kg.?? i don know how to deal with the books though, it's all quite clean and new but who wants it!! garang guni.

anyway, was damn bored and decided to listen to mrbrown's podcast and i think recently ones are all damn funny. go and check it out, especially the one on safe sex education and the funeral one. i swear you can laugh like crazy, good way to de-stress, not that i'm very stressed la but helping those who are stress.

i'm alone at home on a saturday night, how rare.

my mum went for her mahjong session as usual and my dad went to malaysia with my grandparents. my sis is working and my bro's family is out.

instead of feeling lonely and bored, i'm actually enjoying this quiet night very much. it's been very long since i have the chance to be at home myself with no one disturbing and having the whole house to myself for just this few hours. not that i'm a loner la, but times like this are needed once in a while.

at times like this, i get to sit down quietly and think about anything and everything. my parents are urging me to get a job and earn some money for my future expenses but here i am, doing nothing about it. i guess i'm just a big disappointment to them now. i brought newspapers today to look for jobs but i've yet to touch the papers yet. okay, i will go flip through the papers once i'm done blogging.

lastly, i'm really going to look for a job on the papers now. hope i can get one and start like as soon as possible. stop wasting time jinying! bye!

wanted to post some pics from my jarkata trip but i have posted those photos on my facebook instead and so i'm lazy to post it here again.

went to watch monsters vs alien just now and i was almost falling asleep actually. i never liked watching this kind of movies in cinema, waste of money. but since it's free, i just went in to sleep instead. more new movies screening from today onwards and in the next few weeks. most anticipated movie event of the year, transformers!

i have been procrastinating a lot lately, i wanted to get a job like as soon as possible but i'm not bothered to flip newspapers. i think by the time i wanna seriously go get a part-time job, school will be starting soon. the person-in-charged told me that she will be informing about orientation and all other admin stuff. it's been 2years since i last had an orientation, now it's all about making new friends once again. not very sure what's installed for me in the next few months, hope everything will turn out just great. =)

I'm back from Jarkata!

and pf didnt even know i actually went to jarkata last friday, she thought it was this coming friday! thanks ar, pf!

the weather there is like even hotter than singapore and the environment is quite polluted and the traffic there was horrible. there are few traffic lights across the whole street and ppl just cross the road randomly. they have frequent traffic jams, especially bad on weekdays because of the ppl going to and fro to work. we had our own driver who seriously got no patience man. he drives really fast and keep sounding the honk whenever the car infront slows down or is blocking his way. it's quite dangerous actually.

my mum said she saw a young boy(younger than my nephew who's 5) going car to car begging for money in the middle of the road during a traffic jam. i saw a man who's half-blind begging for money while cars are moving. i see people selling snacks/papers/water just to earn a living and they go from car to car to sell it. but, no one ever gives the poor any money and no one bother to buy anything as well.

we must not take things for granted and learn to appreciate everything that we have. thinking of the young boy begging for money in the middle of the road is really a very sad situation. he could have been knocked down by reckless drivers that may be speeding but still, he needed to beg for money because he's extremely poor(i think). we must be contented for what our parents are giving and have gave us and not complain about anything under the sun. we have a proper shelther and nice clothes to wear which many of them dont have.

perhaps you wont get my point until you really see it with your own bare eyes; the kind of pain that they're suffering is something that we can never understand. which is why we should start to count our blessings now. we're so much more fortunate compared to them. we are blessed, so much blessed in fact. living in a completely different city for just a few days really helped me realise many things.

i realised that i'm a very fortunate girl to have such loving family and friends. i have a family who is willing to give all out just to put me through university. i have brothers and sisters who pamper me with lots of love and present at times. i have parents who are working hard just to give me a better life(material and emotionally). i have friends whom i can talk with and approach in times of need.

i should just start appreciating everyone and everything around me. this trip was really an eye-opening one for me. so much so that i learn valuable life lessons, lessons that can never be learn in classrooms and can only be taught through real-life experiences.

well, the trip was basically very short and we did shopping everyday. right from the moment we reached, we had a meal and started shopping. actually, the shopping malls are very much the same in singapore just that they have more levels. mostly branded stuffs and their LV was really super big compared to the one in spore, some more don need to queue to go in; the door is open big for customers to go in.

on the 2nd day, my bro's wife father(not gf already, is wife now) treated us to dinner at this super grand restaurant. it was authentic local indonesian food and it was super nice, not what you normally get in singapore. den can order our own main course and dessert. its really too high class until we don dare to take pictures. my bro say cannot camwhore because very malu. so i don hav any pic of the restaurant.

but we went to their house on the last day and i swear i thought i was in museum. their place was full of sculptures and whatever stuffs la. even singapore may also not be able to find this kind of house with so many art pieces. my sis bf got take pics of it, maybe i can upload another day. their dinner table is long like dunno what, just like the little nyonya show that dining table.

very exaggerating to see this in real life, other than on tv. and they wear shoes at home one okay, don need to take off at all. the maids must have a hard time cleaning the house everyday, already big enough den still wear shoes and walk inside. their house is really freaking big la, dunno how to describe.

anyway, i didnt really buy much things over there. my sis got me a nike bag which was quite cheap only aout 20plus. the sports brand there like nike and adidas is so much cheaper there okay. same product but much much cheaper there. but i only got a nike bag and that's all cos i didnt wanna spend so much money. =)

i think there's nothing much there if you don like shopping. cos it's really just shopping and shopping. i was super tired when i got back, i just sleep my whole day away today and do nothing else. i think it's time i start looking for a part-time job now. earn money to support myself!!

i'm back again!

i was quite down when i was posting the previous entry. because i was badly hit by the news that came. and i had second thoughts about whether i should be really studying at private uni. it's a kind of bad feeling that i have inside of me which i doubt many can understand unless you're in the same situation as me.. but pf understood it and thanks for that encouraging advice you given me, i really thank you for talking it out with me.

and now, i'm finally feeling more relaxed because i'm glad for... well, as long as i know it in my heart then it's enough! i appreciate my sis and mum's effort in trying to help me get through this hurdle which i thought we couldnt handle. they're trying and giving in everything they have just to pull me through and i feel so loved and promise to work hard for them.

this is not gonna be an empty promise, trust me. my mum has been very supportive of me all along and she told me just now to study hard this time and really make every cents worth it. i totally love my mum to bits!!

anyway, i've made the payment of $668++ to retake alevels this year few months back. but i wont be retaking anymore and so we're getting full refund!! YAY. full refund because i got accepted into PSB Academy. i was still quite afraid that we wont be able to get the money back and i will be wasting that few hundred dollars just like that. but but, i emailed MOE yesterday and they told me i can get back the full refund. FULL. how good is that, so efficient.

making a trip down to PSB Academy tmr to submit all the forms and make payment for school fees. private uni really cost a bomb! we have to pay $11k tmr. wow, if only the money drops from the sky or something tonight. den it'll be so miracle! hahah just kidding la, money matters have been settled. i'm glad my family stands by me. i know i've repeated this a few times but i really feel so greatful. and no one can understand how i feel inside now. it's just pure joy.

Jarkata in a few days time. reading about the news of the France airplane that WENT MISSING made me extremely scare of taking any plane now. i mean such a big plane can go missing in the air and still cant be found, it's really frightening. i hope that our flight will be a smooth and safe one, i really hope!

and i think it's time i should start working now. earn more pocket money for my own expenses while i'm in uni. and if i need to get a laptop, then all the more i should start earning money. i do feel bad about it when my family already has to pay for the fees which is &!#$@#!. So, i have to play my part as well. lighten the burden.

my phone is screwed anyway. messages that you sent tonight may only be received in the next morning. or messages ppl sent in the morning, i only received at night. to hell with my phone, it's full of problems! zzz

it is confirmed that i've got accepted into PSB Academy.

somehow or rather, this was the only choice for me becuase i have totally zero chances of getting into a local university. it is true that i'm indeed very contented that at least i have an alternative path to choose. but something still bothers me, very much and it's affecting me quite a lot to be honest. but i know that there will be a way out and i will be fine again soon.

keeping unhappy moments aside, i really wish that i can strike 4D tmr and then everything will be solve. if only it was this easy to strike 4D, den many aunties and uncles in spore will be getting rich overnight. but please ah guanying mah, i wanna strike 4D because i wanna pay for my school fees without having to bother others. not because i wanna buy branded stuffs and spend them on leisure. so please bless me with the luck so that whatever number i buy tmr will be on the television screen. Ridiculous request but i still hope it really comes true. hahaha!!

today is such a bad day. but whatever it is, tmr is a new day and everything will be fine. let me have a better day tomorrow please.

hello!

it's 12.20am and i cant sleep. it may be very early for some of you but to me, it's suppose to be my sleeping time now. i guess i've just slept too much in the afternoon and so i have to resort to blogging at this time.

anyway, good news for myself. The admission officer in charge of my admission into PSB Academy sent me a message in the afternoon and told me that the letter of offer has just been mailed to me. and from what i read, i think i've been accepted into PSB Academy if i didnt interpret the message wrongly. anyway, i applied for Bachelor of Business(marketing & tourism) and this course is under University of Newcastle. NOT LIVERPOOL AR PF!!! and if everything goes well, i'll be starting school(again) in august. prays hard for everything to go on smoothly.

i would really appreciate if everyone can stop asking me if i've been accepted by ntu/nus. let me just say it here once and for all, i've been REJECTED by BOTH NTU AND NUS! yes, i've been rejected by them and that's it. i'm going private uni, fullstop. i'm so not ashamed of it because to me, i'm sure i can still get a job when i graduate. whatever it is, life goes on and i'm happy now.

and to peifen! hey, don worry too much okay. i'm sure you will get accepted into PSB together with me and den we would be celebrating because both of us will be schoolmates once again after the 2years of separation in jc. whatever happens, there will always be a way out. and yes you're right, you need to stay positive and optimistic. i'm so damn sure you are going to make it and get into that course!! just wait patiently, perhaps the letter of acceptance is still on its way from the Uni of Western Australia and has just yet to reach Singapore yet. yup, so keep your fingers crossed and i'll be praying hard for you too! =) cheers!

hello!

i actually forget to wish pf happy bday in person yesterday even though we met up! So sorry but still you know it even though i may not have say it out loud to you. i promise presents coming up soon, maybe even something special from jarkata if i can find one!

so yes, went to catch night at the museum2 yesterday with the girls. i missed the first one so i dont really know if the 2nd one was better than the first. but i think the 2nd one was not bad, i like this kind of movie. don need to think too hard, just watch and laugh! before movie, went to swensens and eat cos pf bday and she can get the free ice-cream. but they requested the person not to sing song and light the candle at all. LOL but able to sit down together and chat(gossip) is great.

and i realised i'm going to jarkata next week already. i was still thinking there will be 2 more weeks before i'm going and i was telling my sister to take her time to pack cos we still got a lot of time. but then, it's just a short trip and we don really need to bring many things. just 2 sets of clothes is enough. anyway, i'm leaving on 5th june which is next friday. but will be back in a blink of an eye.

i opened the letterbox today and saw a letter addressesd to me from NTU.

as much as i expected myself to be rejected by them, there was still a part in me hoping that a miracle would somehow fall on me; and that i would be reading the letter and jumping cos they accepted me. but the truth is i've been rejected by them, and they've even put it in a very nice way saying that rejecting us was a difficult decision. thanks man!!

no doubt that i've expected this myself, but i still do feel kind of disappointed after reading the letter. well, it's okay and i've accepted it and am totally fine. we all gotta move on, right? anyway, now i just hope to receive something more positive from psb. similarly, no news from nus doesnt mean good news. i think the rejetion letter from nus is now in the postman's hand and has yet to find its way to my letterbox, but maybe soon.

i really hate the fact that we're judged by a piece of paper, we are defined and judged upon by a piece of paper. i really wish i can just make do without it but apparently, it's impossible. i'm loving every part of my life, except this part about not being able to obtain that piece of certificate which more or less decide my future. screw it!!!

i'm totally fine, just a short ranting. i'm looking forward to taking the plane again though i dislike taking it. it makes me urgent(for toilet) but couldnt release when i go to the toilet. and i try not to drink and go toilet before boardin the plane but it still doesnt helps. luckily enough, the duration of the flight to Jarkata is only 2hours. compared to the 4.5hours flight to Taiwan, it's much more shorter. =D

i'm going to Jarkata in 2 weeks from now! but it's a ultra short trip because my sis cannot afford to take too many off days. cos she already took too many off days for our taiwan trip, soo this trip will jus be 3days.

basically, my mum has to help my bro's gf to wear a necklece or sth cos they're getting married. yeah, my first bro is getting married next year june at Grand Hyatt. they're not even going to the ROM cos they are inviting the person to do it at the hotel on the night of the dinner. soooo cool.

And so it also means that it's time to go on a healthy diet and more exercise to lose those excess fats(weight) so that i can wear something more formal compared to what i wore for my 2nd bro's wedding. back then i was still quite young so i just wear whatever my sis or mum asked me to. yes, time to implement the losing-weight-plan together with my sister!

anyway, my bro has found a buyer for his house and he's upgrading to a five-room flat now. and the new house that he bought is just so nice. no renovations needed cos everything is still new and they owner even hired a designer to design their house. my bro just decided to buy it down the very first time he went to view the flat. don need to hesitate one. but his whole family will be moving to stay at my house for 2months before moving to the new one. i think my house will be in chaos everyday. just wait and see!

Hello!!

for the past one week, i did many things and spent lots of money. and i also did some exercising.

last saturday, went to east coast park for cycling with my Sis+BF and Bro+wife and nephew for 2hours. i think it's because i haven cycled for too long or jus because the bicycle seat was really very hard, my butt really super pain after cycling for jus 30mins. but not only mine, everyone else also pain. hahaha
after cycling, we went to Suntec and bought roller blades at Carrefour! we have been considering for quite a long time whether to buy anot, so in the end we just bought it. i bought a more expensive one but we really pay for quality. my sis bought one which was 30+ and the wheels was not smooth at all, very difficult to skate. while mine is sooo much better.
den for past few days, we've been going downstairs to blade. it's really fun especially when i see my sis falling down, i can laugh non-stop.

bought dvds too. bride wars, marley and me, coming soon, the bank job and few more others so as to kill time at home! but i've finished watching most of it already. i wanna go watch movies! i haven watch angels and demon. night at the museum2 is out, the conspiracy is also out. all this means money flowing out.

oh ya! i strike 4D last week!!! but also no use, the money almost spend finish. i spend half of it treating my family a sumptous dinner. all delivery one. pizzahut, kfc and the 933 Golden Pillow. but i also keep some left to treat the girls to watch movie. got extra money must share the joy. striking 4D to me is extra income.

you wanna know how i strike 4D?!! Okay here it goes, i woke up in the morning and my eyelid keep jumping and sooo i was thinking maybe today is my lucky day. so when my mom come back from work and asked me if i wanna buy 4D, i say yes. and ta da, i spend $8 on it and strike $250. means i earn $242, better than nothing.

and tmr toto BIG PRIZE okay, if you haven buy before den you shld try cos you may have beginner's luck. but well, i don buy toto cos i think it's harder to strike than 4D! So goodluck to all those who are buying, remember me when you strike the first prize ah! especially jh!

yesterday i went SGH with my sis for her check up and the radiographer scare her. short story but i'm still lazy to share. after that went to causeway to shop. because GSS is starting or has already started for some! my sis received sms from BodyShop and she immdiately just go down and she spend $130++ lik so shiok. just take anything she want, don need to worry about the price. den we went bossini and i spend $170++
just the start and got a big hole in the bank already. i swear i cannot bring my nets card when i go out, if not i'll just keep spending. and now i'm afraid to look into my bank account for the balance, i think i'll get a big shock.

hello!

been watching quite a number of movies for the past 1 week.
`Horsemen
`the uninvited
`star trek
`X-men Origins:Wolverine

out of this 4 movies that i watch, i would recommend star trek which is of course, the best among those. horsemen was disappointing because the ending was (unknown), or to me there isnt even any proper ending. X-men was similarly, disappointing too. the uninvited was very similar to another korean show, sisters. but the scary factor is there, there are still scary parts that maked me jumped in my seat. Star Trek??? go watch it yourself, it's nice.
many more new movies coming up soon. angels&demons is one of them and coming up in june which is the mostly anticipated show will be Transformers!!

anyway, went down to PSB Academy yesterday together with pf. before that, went to MOE to buy my results slip because i lost mine. i threw it away you know! tell me, how smart can i be. So, application for PSB has been sent out by the person in charge of my admission. and she told me that i will be informed regarding the postings in about 3-4weeks time and i hope i'll receive something positive this time round, please.

and this is so belated, but thanks pf for the treat that cost a bomb. it was great! =)) and if there are no changes to current plan, i may be going jarkata in june with my family to visit my bro.

Hello all!

as usual, i've been slacking away. spending time at home doing almost nothing. i know this is so unproductive and wasting time, everyone is telling me that. but at least i did some research on private uni, which i'm already planning to register. it seems that if i'm going to wait any further for letters from ntu/nus, i think i will end up nowhere in months to come if i don start doing something.

So i researched on PSB Academy and MDIS and found a few courses that i'm interested in and so i've took action and the admission officer from PSB has got back to me last week. and she's asking me to travel down to the campus next week to meet her to process my application. at least i don feel so lost now, lost as in no place is gonna accept me and i'm only gonna end up with a pathetic a-level cert. no no, that's not going to be the case now. =D

anyway, there was this GIANT cockroach which fly into my house just now. it's really super big okay, i have never seen before such a big sized cockroach. and the moment it fly in, my sis and nephew and me just open the gate and ran out of the house and also closed the wooden door so that it cant fly out. den left the rest of my family inside the house and my bro killed the cockroach for us in the end, bravo!

now that i have a tv in my room together with a dvd player. i can really stay in my room for the whole day cos there's everything that i need. tv, dvd player and comp. just that lack of cable tv only, if not it will really be my hiding place everyday at home. heh

no news from any uni is seriously, very bad.
i'm spending time away doing many meaningless stuffs. the waiting period really sucks big time because it appears to me that my future is really uncertain now.

i was thinking of other options and would probably be doing more research on private unis soon. actually, i registered to retake alevels again this year but somehow i felt that this decision was made without careful and thorough thinking. So i'm not really sure if i should sit for it again, because i have totally no confidence at all. well, i should really think through it this time. my parents were kind of disappointed when i told them i might not wanna retake. well, i think i know myself best and i'm afraid disappointments will be hard to avoid this time.

ever since i got back from Taiwan, my life has been revolving around reading novels and watching dvds on a daily basis. i just finished one season of Heros and i think i'll be getting the next season(3) on dvd soon. watched a couple of movies during the past 2weeks. confessions of a shopaholic, 12rounds which i think was a great movie and few others(?) which i cant recalled. and also watched 17again yesterday on my sis' off day. the theatre was filled with 90% students who can laugh when there wasnt anything funny so it gets quite irritating. zzz

oh, and i went to the zoo last sunday with my family. it's fine to go the zoo once in 5years cos nothing much really changes. and because of the white tiger incident, when we were watching the feeding session of the tigers, i heard so many funny remarks. there were ppl saying "this is the most famous tigers on youtube", and a kid was asking his parents "den what happened to the man who jumped in now?" after his parents told him abt the incident and the parents replied "of course die already lah, if not still inside living with the tigers meh", what interesting parents huh. LOL and they now added this new boat ride thingy which was pretty err.. no comments. i think it's great for tourists though. took many pics, but lazy to post them up. =)

and so i spent today cleaning up the whole house. i spend most days alone at home and so i suppose it's best to do cleaning when no one's else at home. AND!!! when i wanted to take the pail to fill up with water so as to mop the floor, i found a FREAKING BIG COCKROACH hiding in the pail. i was shocked for a moment but i don know where i got the courage from, i decided to kill the cockroach using my own way. i put down the pail hoping that it wont come out, and i just quickly grab the shower head and on the tap to the maximum hotness so that it's hot enough to cook(kill) the cockroach. and during the process, the cockroach made several attempts to escape from the pail but failed to. HAHA
i swear it was such a good experience, killing it and den flush it down the toilet bowl. i know this is sick but... i couldnt help it but am proud of myself cos i can imagine if my sis were the one who saw it, she will be screaming for help and hide in the room and cry(which she did on one incident). LOL

dessert again! a bowl is one person's portion okay! soo, their portion of food there is really kind of big. means you cant order each person one cos you wont be able to finish everything alone.

and this pretty sums up my whole Taiwan trip. and i'm looking forward to another trip to taiwan again. this trip was kind of too short and we didnt had time to finish going to the places in Taipei. so we didnt went out of taipei to places like taizhong/kaoshiong etc. if you have plans of going to taiwan, i think you can go between feb-march when the weather there is cooling but not too cold. nice weather to shop at the night markets and street-like shopping heaven like wufenpu and ximending(ideal places for girls).

anyway, now that the fun is over. i'm looking forward to receiving letters from uni. it's such a torture to keep on waiting and waiting with no news at all. totally sian-ed.

okay! back to watching Heros, season2 now. watching dvd is really the best now, kills time easily! bye!

HELLO EVERYONE.
i'm back from taiwan last sat night, the trip was superb.
everything was great there. the weather was just nice, cooling and quite cold if it rains.
the food there was omg-delicious, i'm starting to miss the super big chicken chop at Shilin night market that only cost less than S$2.50.
the prices of many things(except branded) are cheaper compared to ours. it's really good if you wanna shop till you drop.
basically, our entire trip was just about shopping and eating and a day of sightseeing. and the people there are really nice. you know what?! they queue up for MRT ok, they actually had lines drawn at the platform there and everyone will just queue up one by one. not like Sg where everyone rush in when the train arrived. isnt it great???
So i bought many many tees and 2pairs of shoes and a bag and some simple gifts. if only i could ta-pao the chicken chop back! LOL

i think it's better to let the pictures do the talking. but there are really too many pictures for me to post up all at once so i'll upload some today first and the rest, probably another day!

my 220th post!

yay, i'm leaving for taiwan tmr morning!! great, but i haven even really started packing at all. wanted to wait for my sis so that we could pack together but she's out everyday and even when we're leaving tmr, she still got events today. i guess we can only start packing later in the day.
and i think the weather there is starting to turn slightly hot now but i think it's still cooler than singapore? hopefully.

had a wonderful lunch at town yesterday with my family, celebrating my father's birthday. an advanced celebration because we'll be in taiwan on the actual day. ate so much to the extent that we have to force ourselves to finish everything. great family day!

as for now... i gotta start to organise my own things first so that it will be easier to pack into the luggage later. soo, goodbye! i'll miss all of you! will be back on the 28th! =)

past few days have been a rollercoaster ride for me. filled with ups and downs, mostly downs though and i guess you know why. for the first time, i've had the chance(which i dont really want) to experience the underlying meaning behind the word, failure. but it only makes me a stronger person and i will move on. i appreciate the unconditional love and support i get from everyone, my family and friends. thanks for the heart-warming advice and messages from you guys, and now i've gotten over it. and i'm not ashamed to say that i wont be able get into a local uni with my results because i know i tried, perhaps it(effort) wasnt enough and all came too late. but i've got no regrets and through this, i've learnt a great lesson and i know what i should be doing in the near future. thanks to all who stand by me; your simple words of encouragement meant a lot to me.

now, i'm really looking forward to the Taiwan trip. 2weeks later on this day at this time, i will be on the plane already. i'm hoping to enjoy myself to the fullest with no worries at all and shop at every possible place that we can go to! If you have anything that you would like me to help you buy from taiwan, just msn/sms me. i'll be more than willing to help! =)

i'm going to prepare for work now! but i would like to end my post with something meaningful and motivating. i find it very true, especially when i read it now. it's a poster that i bought last year to motivate myself. reading it now, gives me a totally different experience.

okay, i've been missing for few weeks. because i've finally started working since last week. working at my uncle's shop and it's great because i've got great colleagues that i can chit-chat with and joke with. it makes working less of a chore and less tiring.

as quoted from quite a number of ppl's blog. i heard that alevel results will be released on 6th march which is next coming friday. reality is sinking in, our future will be decided by the grades we get. nonetheless, i hope for the best for all of us.

on the brighter side, i'll be getting my pay soon. but i'll put some of the money in my bank cos my bank is getting... you know. and the rest of the money will be used for my expenses in taiwan. Yes! i'm getting more excited as days pass because it means that i'll be going to taiwan soon. regardless of my results, i'll just enjoy myself thoroughly in taiwan. 3 more weeks!

this is just a quick update. i gotta go prepare for work now, am working 3pm everyday except sunday. my one and only off day for me to rest. bye!

Chinese new year is over, so quickly. this year's new year was pretty different, the atmoshpere was not really the same as before. i don know exactly in what way, but it's just the feeling.

life for the past 1 month ever since we stepped into 2009 has been very smooth, nothing much happened. and i hasnt fulfilled anything at all. i wanted to do something more meaningful now but i don know what. i have several suggestions in mind but i've yet to make a decision. i could probably learn a musical instrument like guitar. but having learnt piano and violin before and of which both i gave up halfway proves that learning musical instrument may not really be suitable for me. or i could go for volunteering. helps me kill time and at the same time, contributing back to the society. for this, i've already applied and i'm waiting for replies from various organisations.
most people around me are going to or have already taken BTT, so i guess i should go and register soon; together with my sister.

For the past few days, i've been researching everything i can about Taipei. all the shopping malls available, the transportation system there and planning on the places we can go to in each day. and so far, i've figured out that with the MRT system in taipei, we can go to many places. in fact, too much places for us to go in a 6D5N trip. there's really too many shopping malls there for us to finish shopping every single one. also, most of the shopping malls there somehow have at least 5 levels and some even have up to 10 levels, it's really crazy. went to kino and brought 2 guide books on taipei, it certainly help a lot in my planning. as such, i'm really looking forward to the trip.

on the other hand, the much dreaded release of alevel results will be here soon i believe. well, time to face the reality that's most of the time, cruel and harsh. accept.. so it set me thinking what i should pursue in uni. perhaps i'm being quite positive and have the mentality that i'll definitely get into uni but seriously, i'm not. i have zero confidence about my results, absolutely zero. but it doesnt hurts to think, right? and someone told me about following your interest and not passion and i got confused. honestly speaking, i didnt thought of any difference between the 2; to me, it's the same thing. but i was wrong and i was enlighten after the long talking session.

and congrats to pf, for getting the job. nice one! my big bro will be getting married at the end of this year, another much anticipated event for my family. congrats!
lastly, Happy Valentine's day to everyone, with or without loved one!
